I wanted to love this bottle. I did for everything it represents and claims it does. However, as many other reviews stated, it is not easy to drink from this bottle at all. You’ll be wasting your time, money and strength trying to get a couple of drops at a time. They really need to rethink their design and make this bottle functional. It’s an expensive one, and for it not to work simply because of the straw, is really disappointing.

The filters are expensive, but worth the money. traveled extensively in another country and in most every US airport for connecting flights there was “already filtered” available water. This water bottle allows for good tasting clean water anywhere. I bike and walk a lot as a tourist and need water with me. If there are no fountains, I dumped bottled water into it, as bottled water could have a lot of impurities, or poured from the hotel room tap which where I was it was supposed to be very pure (Netherlands). Thank you for making this product!As for complaints I had seen regarding having to suck extra hard on the built in straw, it was nothing at all. The straw is sturdy and immediately responds. The bottle does not leak whatsoever ever. I suggest everyone get this bottle. I have the pitcher too and have been using the home pitcher for approximately 90 days. So easy. I drink a lot of water.

I like how the bottle filters my water as it makes me feel safer when drinking from suspect sources of water. I love everything about it from the design to the taste and quality of the actuall bottle. It would be great if there was a way to have a filter without a straw as I'm not a big straw guy. Other then that small thing, I enjoyed this water bottle a ton and it is a everyday essiential for sure.

I was excited for this water bottle to come but now that it arrived, it’s a huge disappointment! I followed the instructions which said to let the filter soak in water for 30 mins and wash the water bottle itself with warm soapy water. I rinsed the water soooo well and when I put the filter on, the water tastes nasty. So I decided maybe I needed to rinse it more but nooo. No matter what I did the water just tastes like thick spoiled milk. It’s also hard to sip from the straw, you have to really sip hard which is just annoying. And what’s worse: this water bottle is ridiculously overpriced!!!!!

It works but I was a little disappointed that the inside tube is plastic
