Great little tags. Weather proof, can write on both sides so you can use each tag twice, easy to use, and very durable.

Love these tags for my plants. Wish they were lower in price but they last forever. I punch a hole near the end with a paper punch then use a zip tie instead of the wire that come with the tags.

These are nice because you can just write on them with a ballpoint pen and an indentation in the metal is made, “embossed “. It doesn’t depend on the ink, and no scriber is needed. Each side works separately.

I love these. I can write the Latin name on one side and the common name on the other, just using a ballpoint pen! There is a good bit of room for writing, even if you have to go to two lines. The little wires that come with these could be a little longer for use on larger plants like trees, but you can always use your own wire for those. The holes for the tags are large enough for a thicker wire, if needed. These are sturdy tags, not like those flimsy ones that are thinner than the aluminum of a soda can.Right now, I'm just doing one tag for one plant in a group of more than one (like my pawpaws), hoping that whoever moves into this place when I'm dead and gone will be interested enough in my efforts to build a food forest to identify the others that look the same. This will help me remember, too, precisely what I've planted and, if something dies, I'll know what to replace it with. I'm not bothering to tag annuals, of course, unless they are prolific reseeders, but I want to know what those edible perennials are in case we have to subsist on them...like if coffee becomes unavailable or unaffordable, I'll know where to get my caffeine in my yard! LOL!I just wish I had had these when I first put in some of my sunchokes and grapes, because I don't remember the varieties now.

Excellent product. Of course, have to get close to read it. Used ball point pen to indent words works best. Best $ for the label.

I have no clue how these hold up long term, but OMG they're BEAUTIFUL to write on with a cheap BIC pen! You don't even need to press hard--just firm. I wrote on both sides of mine, and they look great! Again, I can't speak to how they'll hold up long term, but they SHOULD be fine because aluminum is very stable, even in the weather. The tie wires look rather small and fine, but depending on the usage they might hold up OK. For my outside use though, I'm going to go with a thicker wire I already have on a spool, which will let me use a longer wire as well--that way I don't have to change to longer wire until MUCH later when my trees get WAY bigger. 🤞

We found these tags on some plants we purchased and thought how great they are. They're durable and really don't need ink to retain the writing. Perfect for keeping track in the plant nursery.
