This filter doesn't (not at all) softens the water, but greatly filters all kinds of alage, sand, dust & other irrelevant particles. Infact it filters 100% leaving no residues in washing machine. Some of the customers have complained about leakage, but this is my 3rd purchase of same product in 2 years. I haven't faced such problems. Honestly I'm 100% satisfied (only in case of filtration) & also easy to install. We can expect durability up to 6-8 months depending upon water.PS: I'm using LG front load 9kg washing machine.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Easy to install and good brandDurability:Started to leak within 2 weeks of installation. The leakage started within the filter cap and the filter itself. I could not even fix it. Even a plumber could not fix. Waste of money

Packaging: Excellent, Build Quality: Excellent.Along with the filter, Teflon tape was provided as well. The filter feels of excellent quality, it was seal packed. It could protect the washing machine for solid particles and dust getting in the tub.Suggestion: if could make some space to add de-scaling balls, It would be a perfect (one solution for hard water).Overall, it's an awesome product.

Filter quality is good but the product broke in less than 2 months. Now discontinuing using product as can't change the filter in every 2 months considering the cost.

This is not suitable for high-rises.The plastic build quality is poor. I live on the 7th floor of a 12-story high-rise. I assume the pressure difference is too much,It does not screws tightly enough and water leaks, or it explodes open, and since it's not returnable, it is useless now.

The product is completely useless. Knowing how municipal corporations supply muddy water during monssons, I planned ahead to install this on my washin machine during the monssons. Consequently the first uss of this filter was in the last week of June 2023.Upon the first use, it started leaking..then the filter was too blocked to allow any amount of water pressure to pass through. It's just a fancy product with a fancy name that just doesn't serve the purpose. Even the tap filter by Water Science is of no use
