Maybelline Mascara Lash Sensational Sky High Waterproof Volumizing and Thickening Eyelash Lengthening. Flake Free Formula, 01 Very Black

I recently tried the Maybelline Sky High Mascara in the shade Very Black, and I must say it lives up to its name. I have naturally straight, medium-length lashes, and I’ve always struggled to find a mascara that gives both length and volume without clumping or weighing my lashes down. This one surprised me!The brush is flexible and shaped perfectly to catch even the tiniest corner lashes. From the first coat, I noticed an instant lift and separation. After the second coat, my lashes looked noticeably longer and fuller — almost like I was wearing natural falsies, but without the hassle.What really stood out to me is the formula. It’s infused with bamboo extract and fibres, which makes it feel very lightweight on the lashes. Even after wearing it all day, I experienced no smudging, flaking, or irritation, and it was easy to remove with a gentle cleanser. I also have sensitive eyes and sometimes wear contacts, but this mascara didn’t cause any discomfort at all.One small downside is that if you apply more than two thick coats, it can make the lashes feel slightly stiff. So I recommend building it up gradually for the best effect. Also, the packaging is very basic-looking, but the performance totally makes up for it.Overall, this is one of the best drugstore mascaras I’ve used — and I’ve tried many! It delivers beautiful, fluttery lashes that hold all day. Highly recommended if you want bold length and volume without the clumps or smears.

This is such a great mascara and has become our go-to favourite in our house. Myself and my teenage daughters all use this product and I look out for sales to keep a regular supply at a great price. The mascara gives great length and is buildable without any clumping. No flaking and lasts really well from day to night. We get the black but I’ve accidentally bought the brown before and was happy to use it.My daughters school has a “no fake lashes” policy and one day my daughter had to prove these were her real lashes not fake ones as the product is so good! Highly recommend.

I’ve used maybelline mascara for a short while now so I ordered this one when my last one ran out a while ago.ABOUT THE MASCARAIt’s a very thin formula with a wand that beautifully separates your lashes. It offers a very natural finish if you want a “make-no-makeup look”. The waterproof version of any mascara are the only formulas that can hold my lashes up really well. If you’re looking for a separating mascara this is the one, it doesn’t lengthen too much compared to my benefit waterproof mascara, however the benefit one does not separate my lashes like this one does.ABOUT THE PURCHASING EXPERIENCEThis did take a lot longer to come than my other packages I ordered at the same time. I’m not a prime user so I didn’t have an option for earlier shipping, I’m not sure if that would change anything. The mascara came without a security seal so it could have easily been opened etc, it would be more assuring if it did have a layer of protective seal to prevent any doubts.Overall the product is very affordable and is a good drugstore mascara to buy!

Best burgundy mascara so far! So I did give a couple of smaller brands a chance before ordering from Maybelline but honestly, sometimes brands get big for a reason. There's plenty of product in the tube and the applicator's the best I've seen on the market in a while - it leaves your lashes perfectly separated and curly, no clumpiness, no accidental panda eyes, no struggle to pick up product from the tube.With that said, a couple of things to keep in mind:1. While the mascara looks a lovely purple colour in the tube, it will dry looking somewhat black (not a huge issue on my end but good to know)2. It doesn't do as well on top of lash primer. While the applicator will work wonders on your bare lashes, if you use primer like I do most days, you'll need plenty of extra time and patience to ensure a good level of coverageHowever, even with the above in mind, I would definitely recommend. :)

I really love it, I’m getting another one! I paired it with a white lash primer and it was amazing. The mascara is good quality, a very pretty dark purple and the wand is really effective for application. It doesn’t flake and the length of my lashes was really good, very lovely product!

I got this mascara for £6 and thought that it would be fake. But no it's real but the sealing was opened. So i have my doubts all over. Couldn't return it because I bought when the sale was going. Even though the product is 9/10.

Absolutely LOVE this mascara! I’m in my 30s and not the best at applying makeup, but I saw this on TikTok and had to try it. So glad I did!It’s super affordable, especially compared to high-end brands, and the results are fantastic. My lashes look long, healthy, and best of all — no smudging on my eyelids, which is something I usually struggle with.The thin brush makes application easy and even, with no clumps or spidery lashes. Honestly, can’t believe how good this is for the price!

It wasnt sealed and it seems a bit dry, i have previously purchased about year ago but i was happy hence why i bought it again. Im a bit wary that it wasnt sealed so we shall see. If im happy with the product then il change my review of 3 stars.
