These filters arrived in a plain brown shipping box, I expected them to be cellophane wrapped and labeled, they weren’t, there were just 6 loose filters in the box. Okay, I get it, that’s one way to keep the cost down.I was surprised when I removed my old dirty filter, it was so much more substantial and sturdy than these.These filters bend easily and I had a little trouble sliding them into the frame on my vent. My vent is vertical and on the wall, you just slide two filters in from top to bottom. However, the filter itself seems like it will do the job fine.This is the way to go if you want to save money on your filters, but don’t expect any frills. The product lost one star because it seems easily collapsable if you aren’t careful.

Great basic filters. Last AC guy out told us these are more than adequate, and that the more dense, “higher filtration” filters are more of a gimmick that place excess stress on the unit. We will certainly keep up with use and replace monthly. Good build, good feel.
