Great product with great flavors
I have been using the extend BCAA powder for many years. I love the flavors available. The combination of electrolytes and amino acids have been essential to my workouts and to when I play in Pickleball tournaments. Strangely, my last two orders of lemon lime have come without a scoop in the container. Hopefully that is corrected.

This stuff is a gamechanger!
My son plays catcher on his travelball team. We play in Arkansas, so towards the end of spring we are playing 3-5 games on Sunday in 90°+ temps. He's a good sized kid (13years 5'7 150lbs) and after catching the first game he would be be too tired to catch the rest of the day. I started giving him the Xtend electrolyte & recovery drinks between games, and there has been a remarkable difference in his performance! He has way more stamina throughout the day playing. He can catch multiple games with relative ease, and has a better attitude. He is incredibly picky about what he eats and drinks, and will drink this because he sees results from it. The first can we got was cherry Airhead flavor. He didn't care much for the taste of it, but finished it anyway. He used the lemon lime most recently and says it tastes much better. We will continue to use this product.

Lemon Lime is the way to go (find out why)
I have been lifting weights for some time, and the only supplements I have used are protein powder and creatine, mainly because those are the two which seem to have the most research behind them as far as actually doing what they are claimed to do. BCAAs were something I'd heard about in the weight room bro culture, but I was not convinced that they were a supplement worth my money.I have recently begun intermittent fasting (IF) again to cut some extra weight. I had done Eat Stop Eat-style IF for a couple of years before, and it works really well for me to drop and maintain weight loss. The previous time, though, it did seem to me that I did lose a fair amount of muscle in the process, which is one reason I drifted away from it. So this time I decided to investigate how I could IF and still maintain the muscle mass and strength gains I'd developed. This led me again to BCAAs, particularly during IF.From what I've read, there does seem to be a good deal of scientific research supporting the efficacy of BCAAs in helping to maintain strength and muscle mass while in a caloric deficit. This evidence is suggestive enough that I decided to give BCAAs a try, at least while I'm getting down to my goal weight.I have been IF-ing with BCAAs for four weeks, have already dropped around 10 lbs., and have been able to maintain my lifts. Anecdotally, I have lost mass in places, but as I haven't lost strength I assume this is primarily fat loss.I don't expect supplements to taste good, I just want them to not make me gag. I first tried the watermelon flavored BCAAs from Scivation, from the recommendation of the guy at GNC. It was okay. Somewhere I read that BCAAs were going to taste bitter and acidic, because they are in fact acids. With that in mind, I thought that a citrus flavor might be the best cover for a flavor. Thus, I tried the Lemon Lime flavor, and it is a total hit. The taste is just of a very tart Lemon Lime Gatorade, so it goes down quite easy. I highly recommend this flavor.I'm not sure if I'll continue taking BCAAs after I reach my goal weight, although I likely will during my actual fasts, and perhaps occasionally pre- or post-workout. Regardless the Lemon Lime flavor will be the way I go.

Great recovery drink.
I LOVE the way the way Xtend makes me feel. I recover quicker after a workout. I don't crash through the day. It's also great to get me by if I have to skip a meal or a snack (I am not suggesting this as a meal replacement but for those times you can't get time to eat. I normally get light headed and shaky if I miss a meal. If I take Xtend BCAA's I get none of that). I won't drink it after 5 pm because it does keep me awake and refreshed (and makes it hard to sleep).I do NOT like the taste. I am getting use to it, it is much better with 16-20 oz of water (be mindful if you only mix it with 8 oz...it is strong!). I did not buy this for taste and it is palatable so I did not dock any stars for taste.

Awesome BCAA's for the money
I've been using this for about a month now and can't say enough great things about it. This product has a 2-1-1 ratio which is great and the 90 serving size gets you more for the money. I never used BCAA's when I work out and I've been doing so for the past 20 years off and on. This product gave me endurance and also aided me in recovery. My workouts for the past year have been brutal. My workout consists of using weights first then sprints to then steady state cardio. After my workout I have been completely depleted of energy and felt sluggish and sore. While using this product for the past month, I no longer had any of these issues after my workouts. As another reviewer stated, there's only 3 grams of Glutamine in this product. I add another 5 grams to get the daily recommended amount needed for recovery.Since there's no product details on Amazon I thought I'd share that info. You're probably asking the same questions I asked myself before I decided to purchase this. What made me decide to purchase this product were the 5 star reviews.Serving size - 1 scoopCalories per serving - 5Calories from fat - 0Total fat - 0gCholesterol - 0 mgSodium - 240 mgPotassium - 210 mgTotal carbohydrates - 0gSugars - 0gVitamin B6 - 640 mcgElectrolyte blend - 1170 mgL-Leucine - 3500 mgL-Glutamine - 2500 mgL-Isoleucine - 1750 mgL-Valine - 1750 mgCitrulline Malate (1:1) - 1000 mgHope this helps.
