Does Koehler sell replacement suction cups for the drain cover?

Yes they do! If your local supplier can't provide, it may be obtained online. You may have to provide some information and depending on age of fixture the cost may be O!

some customers were very unhappy with the design of the drain cap. It has broken, failed and its difficult to remove hair from the drain. Comments?

We've had this shower pan for 10 years. The suction cups broke off years ago and it hasn't been a problem. Occasionally if you step on it just right it will dislodge, but that hasn't been a deal breaker for us either. The problem we have is that the old cover is difficult to clean because it has a star shaped pattern that creates too many little walls, for lack of a better term, to clean. Also, our cover has discolored over the years while the pan has not. That part looks pretty bad.

Do you leave cover on to take shower? If so hard to drain?

Yes leave the cover on. No it drains good.

love it!

We tried to get a shower panel at the local stores and they all seemed broken. And it would have taken quite a while to get one ordered. We were pretty discouraged, until we looked at Amazon and found this. The quality is amazing, and even though it's more expensive than the ones in the store, it came sooner. And it's so worth the price! We absolutely love it. It feels solid and it was delivered on a pallet and came with no defects at all.

Gets moldy. Need an optional porous cover to allow underneath to dry.

Nice appearance but stays wet under cover. Promotes mold. Need an optional metal cover that has holes so it allows underneath to dry.
