I go overboard every year. Hundreds of pounds on various family members... and I take great pride in my wrapping skills. I always make sure that everything is pretty and secure and lots of little charms and bows and sparkles, but you can still open the gifts. My husband is another story...His wrapping is beautiful, and after a really hard year, he went a bit mad with presents for me. Except he doesn't leave space to rip the paper. He puts the tape over every single fold, so there's nowhere to grip the paper. I bought the tape because we needed it, and gave him a couple of rolls. He got to work.Christmas morning rolls around and we're gathered around the tree giving our gifts. I got spoiled. Jewellery, games, anime blurays, perfumes... except they're still wrapped. I physically cannot open them. The tape is so strong I can't break it to get the paper off. I only know what I have because he eventually told me after hours of pulling and trying to break the seal. They could use this tape to secure the crown jewels, bank vaults, prisoners, there's just no getting through it. I didn't want to cut open the gifts in case I damaged anything, but I don't have a choice. After a month, I need to just do it. It's easier to build flat pack furniture with no instructions and an odd number of screws than it is to break this tape. It's easier to open a sealed pack of scissors, without another pair of scissors.So if you want something to stick, absolutely, buy this tape. If you ever want to remove the tape, then maybe try superglue instead.

This is not sellotape or cellotape. It is a rip off tape and abusing the value and integrety of the brand name. Amazon should stop this now.
