I have used Healthy gut products for years and can attest to the very good quality they offer. Holozyme is no exception. It helped with bloating, gas and IBS symptoms after a week of slowly introducing it. I will likely reorder in the future. I bought the 30 capsule supply to try it, which is a great value for testing out a new supplement.

Holozyme is a great digestive support. Works great with meals or on an empty stomach. Highly recommend.

A wonderful product which aids digestion

This is by far one of the best enzymes that I’ve ever used up until the recent formula change that is still not transparent here in the images for the bottles or the ingredient listing. I was unaware of this change until I noticed the capsule size was larger. That led me down to do some research. And contacted healthy guy directly. Expressed my concerns of the change. It was explained to me that these new enzymes were test, tested on some of the most sensitive individuals and should not cause any adverse reactions. I went ahead and tried it for three days and ended up having some of the worst reactions that I’ve ever experienced from taking a digestive enzyme.Here are the list of side effects.* heartburn like feeling* irregular heartbeat* migraine like headaches* the opposite of what the enzyme is supposed to do, I experienced constipation* disrupted sleep* and lastly, I broke out with a rash on my legs, arms, and neck. It has been now almost 7 days since I stopped taking it, and I’m still experiencing this skin reactions, but it is less day by day.As of this date, this is only the 180 count bottles. 30 count bottles are still using the old formula until they run out of stock.I want to make it known that this product prior to the formula change has been the best enzymes I’ve ever used in my entire experience with digestive enzymes. After the formula change, it’s one of the worst experiences, unfortunately.I love this company and what they do, but I think this was unfortunately not a good decision of doing what you think is best for the broader community. I thought it was fair to at least put a customer comment to explain my symptoms in the case that anyone else may be experiencing similar side effects.

This is the best enzyme if others do not work for you, because this is activated it actually works and does not cause stomach pain and actually breaks down food, it is expensive and you may need to play around with dosage website says 6 per meal can be used if needed, it is definitely worth it especially if you tried other enzymes that did not work or caused pain.

I have tried so many different kinds of enzymes for bloating and gas pain and this one works the best! I recently had a hiatal hernia surgery and my gut was super noisy afterwards unless I took these excellent enzymes!

I’ve used many enzymes and while some work better than others, none of them have made me violently ill like these. The first time I tried them I took two before breakfast. Within an hour I was feeling very nauseous, dizzy, and had a migraine. I have histamine intolerance and thought that maybe something had triggered a histamine reaction that I had eaten, though I didn’t eat anything that I wouldn’t normally eat. I took my histamine medication, and the symptoms still didn’t subside. Eventually I vomited everything out of my stomach, which is a rare occurrence for me. I chalked it up to some sort of new reaction for me and didn’t think much of it. A couple days passed, and I decided to give these enzymes another go. Took two before breakfast again, had a light breakfast of two scrambled eggs and a slice of toast and within an hour, same symptoms. Nausea, dizziness, palpitations, extreme heartburn, and a migraine headache. At this point I connected the dots and realized it was the enzymes. Again, it ended with me violently emptying my stomach contents into the toilet. Here I am, two hours after vomiting and my stomach is still in knots and I still have a migraine. Tried to request a return through Amazon, and was denied. So, I’m now going to chuck $70 into the trash can, but at least I won’t be vomiting my guts out anymore. These have been the absolute WORST enzymes I’ve ever used and I hope this review helps others from suffering in the same manner that I did.
