I love this as a daily devotional. It gives you a nice way to think about yourself and the world around you.

One of my new year's resolutions is to work my way through this book without stopping, from January 1st to December 31st. This is one resolution I won't have to talk myself into keeping!Since buying this one, I have given it to at least one friend and probably will pass it on again. I keep it on my nightstand and read a message every morning before getting out of bed. It's such a great way to start the day off with a positive spin, instead of immediately jumping into the day's problems (real or imagined) and getting yourself all worked up. I am one of those people who sometimes forgets to ask for angelic assistance when I should, so for me this book is a great way to redirect my focus and ask for help each morning. As mentioned by other reviewers, each message is wonderfully warm and uplifting, like getting a hug from one of your angels. Also included on each page is an affirmation or prayer for the day. Usually these are brief, to the point, and easy to remember, which means that you can reflect on them during quiet moments throughout your day, or whenever you need reassurance that your angels are nearby. The messages are a quick and easy read, but bring such healing and reassurance! You can read them in their numbered order or just open at random, and achieve the same goal. Perhaps the best thing about this book is that it is non-denominational. Where there is a mention of God, it is very neautral and not at all judgemental. You do not need to be a Christian - or practice any particular religion for that matter - to benefit from the messages of the angels; she makes it clear that the angels' assistance and love is for everyone, no matter what your spiritual beliefs or situation. This means you could give this book to almost anyone and not be afraid of offending them, or that they will not understand the message.This book was well worth my money! As I said earlier, I would not hesitate to pass it on to loved ones who need a Divine boost. It comes highly recommended. If you love angels, or even if you are just going through a rough time, you will not be disappointed.

I am an avid reader and have read literally thousands of books in my lifetime. This book, without a shadow of a doubt, is THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ. One point that is important to note is that this same book (also by Doreen Virtue)is available in a paperback version. However, THIS book is labeled a 4-Color "Gift Edition" for a reason. It is also the MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOK I HAVE EVER SEEN...truly. It is a hardback and unique in the fact that the cover actually wraps around the back to close in front, just before the awesomely beautiful picture of the angel on the front cover. The artwork in this book is also nothing short of AMAZING! The most important part of any book, of course, is it's content; and Doreen outdoes herself in the every day inspirational messages from the angels. You can go through the book page by page or, like me, just pick a random page each day---I am constantly amazed at how appropriate the messages are for what's going on in my life at that particular moment. I have already bought three of these books to share with my family and two friends. I have labeled this book my "Angel Bible" and I feel lost without it when it's not right next to me on my bedside table. So...if you want to be spiritually guided and inspired, or would like to give an awesome gift to someone dear, THIS IS IT! I wish I could rate this book more than just 5 stars...it truly takes you to the heavens and beyond.

I am updating my first review because this turned out to be a life changing book for me. I highly recommend this book to anybody who is need of their Spirit uplifted. It will bring your Angel's alive again. All you have to do is ask. :) This contains a year's worth of Angelic messages. She said to start from the beginning or to flip through the book and stop on a page that calls to you. I have found neither of these ways really a satisfactory way of getting the most out of this book. I do find myself looking for the correct message that I need at the time and not just having it intuitively come to me. I'm not saying that messages have not come to me intuitively. It is a beautifully written book and the messages are wonderful. I have ordered one of her other books on Angels so that I can get a little more out of the Angelic Realm.

I love this book! I read it every morning and feel the connection from the Angels. The author offers a daily writing of uplifting words and leaves you with a Thought For The Day to guide you into a positive place. You can either read a passage starting with page 1 and going to the end of the book, or just lay your hand on the book and open yourself for whatever message you may need that day. This is what I do, and it's uncanny how I'm able to receive the message that I absolutely need for that day. I never realized how much the Angels play a part of our lives until I recently started researching and reading and in my opinion, Doreen VIrtue is the best author and source of the information. I bought this book for myself and once I got it home and started reading, I went back and ordered one for my daughter. It's a lovely gift edition and highly recommended.

Well made book. Bought for a present for my sister. She does not read much. Has a hard time understanding what she reads. She started reading it last night. She says it is easy to understand. I read a page of it. It reads like most books. That she would have a hard time to understand. But this one she does understand it. So I think her Angel's are helping. Love the book. I will be buying me copy. If you love Angel's it is a Perfect book for you or someone you love.
