If the bar breaks...
I purchased this belt over 7 years ago and this week the bar that tightens the belt broke in half. I didn't want to throw the belt out because it is still in very good condition and I knew that I could repair it. If you are inclined to fix things then you would need a hand drill, a number 43 drill bit, a #4-40 tap and a vise to hold the bar while drilling.

Durable and good color
I bought this belt a few years ago and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The durability is impressive, it's held up well with daily use and still looks brand new. The color is classic and versatile, easy to pair with any outfit. I also love the metal plaque with a polished touch without being too flashy. Overall, a high-quality belt that balances style and resilience. Definitely worth it!

Ruggedly Dependable: Columbia Unisex-Adult Military Web Belt Review
The Columbia Unisex-Adult Military Web Belt has proven to be a reliable and durable accessory that deserves a spot in my daily wardrobe. While it may not be perfect, its combination of sturdiness, adjustability, and classic design makes it a solid choice for various occasions. The build quality of this web belt is undeniably impressive. The materials used are sturdy and well-crafted, lending a sense of durability that instills confidence in its performance. Whether I'm out hiking, camping, or simply running errands, I can trust this belt to hold up without any issues. The only downside is that the first one I purchased lasted only three years. Although it's not terrible, a longer lifespan would have been preferable.

Great belt for summer (beige)
This belt is exactly what I was looking for. It's very strong, easy to cut-to-size, looks good and the clasp/buckle stays put. It's fairly thick which is what I wanted. Contrary to other reviews, it's also very lightweight. The fact that it's infinitely adjustable is awesome. I bought the beige color, to go with shorts in various colors for summer, and I couldn't be happier.I had a piece of belt material left over after cutting it to fit. Out of curiosity I decided to bleach it to see if it could be lightened up a bit (I like the beige color but it's kind of a dirty shade... slightly darker than shown in the picture.) It turned yellow instead of simply lightening up so, unless you want a yellow belt, don't bleach this thing!!!Overall, great belt at a good price. Just what I wanted.

Not as advertised
Solid belt. Website said 50” but belt came in saying 42”. I wear a 42 so it is a little shorter than expected.

Excellent Quality & Value
Bought the black version from J.C.Penny on "sale" for $15, liked the belt and then went on-line here ad found for $10., delivered - actually was scheduled to get my second day Prime delivery on Sunday and my order for two belts (a tan and khaki) arrived a day early, on Saturday. These belts are perfect width to avoid belt loop waistline "roll-over", and are as heavy-duty & well made as the military ones I remember from years ago....the buckle operates easily and quickly off and on without the "wear marks" on the webbing that typically develop on the woven leather belts I've been using for cargo shorts. The length can be easily adjusted by opening the clamp behind the buckle and trimming the length of the web belt material with a heavy kitchen shear, them re-clamping - I did all three of mine, removing an inch or so, in about 10 minutes, after a couple of "test" trims.....if you're looking for a casual belt with a military or outdoors look, you will not go wrong here, and will definitely not break the bank.

Substantial belt
This web belt is a thicker and wider than the usual military ones. This means your old web belts could be used with this buckle, but this belt is a bit too wide to fit into your old web buckles. The overall belt is beefy and substantial. The buckle grips well and is a nice brushed silver. It came with a plastic saran wrap covering the buckle so it won't get scratched before I use it. The belt end stay does say Columbia on it but is is stamped in, not printed on, so it is not that noticeable. The buckle works the same way as the usual web belts. The belt is 45 - 46" long. The color is a very neutral tan or beige. I think it is a very nice, better than the usual 'go with everything' belt and I plan to wear it with jeans, khakis and summer shorts.
