I hate to answer a question with a question, but do you have 48v phantom power going to the mic? If all else is good, that may be the issue. Condenser mics need phantom power to work.

This is tuned for vocals, drums, electric guitar, piano, & acoustic instruments.

Yes. It will not work without it. That is the case for, as far as I know, every condenser mic.
