When a product deserves a review like this one, I have to respond. This product is AMAZING. I had several silver necklaces that over time had become very tarnished, and I never wore them anymore. I decided to purchase this item as a final effort to restore my jewelry. The instant (and I mean INSTANT) I put one of my necklaces into the liquid, it took off all of the tarnish ... and I do emphasize INSTANT. I was amazed at the results. It did the same with all of the other pieces of jewelry, with the minor exception of a pair of large silver earrings, and with that I mean that I had to actually brush some of the tarnish off manually. There is no doubt that whatever is in this product does the job. It is amazing.

Does the trick when you have some jewelry that's tarnished. Saves you trips to the jewelry shop. I bought this because my Pandora charm bracelet was tarnished. I brought it to the Pandora store to get it cleaned. I couldn't believe how horrible of a job they did. My bracelet looked almost exactly as it did when I brought it in. When you get your jewelry cleaned,.it should look practically brand new.Anyway, I bought this thinking I could do a better job. And I did. This solution smells good and it's so easy to use. No need to polish. Just drop your jewelry in the solution for 30 seconds and rinse. I cant wait to clean all my other jewelry.

Amazing results! I’ve been trying and trying to polish my silver jewelry with cloths and paper, worried the stones will be damaged, I haven’t used liquid. Finally, I was so fed up with the rubbing not working I wanted to try a liquid product.THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY DO NOT USE ON STONES! But I did. I had excellent success! My stones were semiprecious, not soft materials like pearls. So if you do dunk your stones, I can’t say they won’t be damaged, but mine weren’t, and I’m so happy to have tiny beads, chains, rings and nooks and crannies all shiny!!!

To be honest, I was trying this as a last effort because I thought the cleaner would be able to seep in and get into the details.I have a lot of pewter & silver jewelry. The product didn't ruin anything but it didn't work on any of the silver pieces leaving them tarnished. The pewter parts however were gleaming better than new. Luckily I am a beader and can easily swap out the tarnished parts for new ones.I nearly purchased the silver specific but this bottle also lists it as for silver so I took a chance that just didn't pan out.

Works well on tarnished sterling silver jewelry. Followed directions of only leaving it in the solution for 10 seconds!! Used a soft brush to get tarnish out of crevices. I did have some stones in a few pieces so rinsed and dried them quickly and just brushed some of them without immersing them. No harm done to my cubic zirconia. It made my silver VERY shiny! Wiped and shined them with a soft cloth. The chemical didn’t hurt my skin, but smelled like sulphur. Might want to use gloves. Says once opened it will probably only be effective for 1 year. That was disappointing, but will have to wait and see! I thought this product was amazing.

I don’t know much about all the different kinds of jeweler cleaning products available, I just needed a quick way to clean several pieces of silver jewelry I had purchased for my wife over the years when I noticed her silver neck, wrist, and ankle chains had become very dull. While I always made sure to buy only high-content silver jewelry and not cheap silver plate, these still had become dull in appearance.Being basically lazy, I wanted something advertised that would not require doing lots of rubbing or polishing, and this product fits the bill for no effort cleaning. You just open the screw top, lift up the interior plastic basket, drop in the jewelry, lower back down, shake the basket a few times, then wait.While I’m sure the time will vary based on how dingy the jewelry looks, the multiple times I used this cleaner I only waited about 5 minutes with great results! I suggest having the cleaning next to a sink so you can rinse off the cleaning solution as soon as you remove the item from the cleaner and dry quickly. While you may be able to use this product for other metals, this is advertised as a “silver” cleaner and that is exactly what it does and does it well.

I really don't know how this product earned so many 5-star reviews. I found it to be ineffective for metal jewelry. It did a good job on glass & crystal (haven't tried it on natural diamonds or pearls), but didn't make a dent on tarnished silver.
