Wilson EZ Gear 2.0 Catcher’s Gear Kit

I’m so glad I chose this catching gear for my kid! From the moment we unpacked it, I could tell it was made with quality in mind. The padding is thick and protective, but not bulky—he’s able to move comfortably and confidently behind the plate. The fit is spot on and adjustable, which is great since he’s still growing. The helmet provides excellent visibility and ventilation, and the chest protector stays securely in place, even during fast-paced plays. What I love most is how much more confident he is now. He feels safe, and that lets him focus on the game. It’s also holding up really well—no loose straps or fraying, even after multiple practices and games. Definitely a great investment for any young catcher. Highly recommend for quality, safety, and comfort!

Great start gear for young kids! This catchers gear looks phenomenal and definitely helps protect the catcher. The Velcro straps make it easy to take on and off in between innings without worrying the Velcro is going to give out. The fit allows for the catchers to grow while fitting them securely with adjustable straps that make it easy to tailor to the correct size. Great purchase

Finally a set of catchers gear for girls. Softball & baseball are kinda the same sport and yet so very very different. Especially at the jr. fastpitch level (8-15yo) because young and adolescent girls grow so much differently than boys and they need a different fit than boys. This set is really nice. Great construction and design as traditional from Rawlings. The velcro closure on the chest plate is so much easier than a clip and it is fully & quickly adjustable to size up/down between players. The shin/knee guards are fully protective and hinged in just the right areas for quick up & down range of motion and they are super lightweight. The helmet is top-notch in quality & design - by far the best helmet fit & feel I have used in my 10 years of coaching girls softball. It's face cage has a huge field of view and if fits secure and comfortable yet it is super easy to flip off for pop-flys. There are no angles or spurs in the helmet to catch hair or scratch skin. The padding is thourguro but overall it is super breathable and my players do not get overheated. I am very impressed with this set and so happy to have it vs. my old set.

Very poor quality product. I trusted the brand when purchasing, but the velcro gets dirty and no longer sticks properly. The product arrived and my son used it the same day for training, and the part shown in the photo came unstitched. During training, I saw him adjusting the velcro multiple times because it would open when he moved.The helmet does seem to be of good quality, but aside from that, there’s too much velcro for a product that is expected to be high quality. The fact that it came unstitched on the very first use is unacceptable. I do not recommend it.I'm not returning it because I don’t want to take away my son’s excitement over his training and game kit while we get a new one—but I’m truly disappointed with this purchase. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Great product…durable, stylish and practical! The Velcro straps makes for easy off and on which is a MUST for a catcher!

My son and his teammates have gotten so much use out of this set. It’s perfect size for smaller kiddos and was easily adjusted for each kid who used it. Quality was well worth the money spent!

Solid for entry level and it will work. The Velcro is sticky and has held up fine for a year. The biggest complaint I have is the chest protector ruins any jersey that's isn't simply plain cotton material. Most jerseys are some type of polyester for wicking purposes. This type of material gets destroyed by the Velcro and leaves the jersey looking well worn after a few uses around the shoulders. Numerous boys have asked to use the helmet as it's very comfortable.
