Baseus 9-in-1 Docking Station Review – Finally Found the Perfect Hub
After wasting money on multiple docking stations (including some "premium" brands that failed me), this Baseus model is the first one that actually delivers everything it promises. It's been a game-changer for my work setup, especially during my intensive pre-employment training where I needed reliable dual monitor support. What makes it stand out:Flawless 4K@120Hz dual display - no lag, flickering, or compatibility issues that plagued other docksStable 85W power delivery keeps my laptop charged even during heavy useAll ports actually work simultaneously (unlike some hubs that disable functions when multiple are in use)Built like a tank - the aluminum casing stays cool and looks premiumReal-world performance:Handled my 27" 4K monitor + secondary 1080p display perfectlyEthernet connection gave me faster speeds than WiFi (crucial for video training)SD card reader saved me time during file transfersWorked seamlessly with my Dell work laptop AND personal MacBookThe verdict:At half the price of "name brand" alternatives, this docking station outperforms them all. If you need reliable multi-monitor support without the usual USB-C hub headaches, this is the one to get. After months of frustration with other models, I can confidently say this is the docking station that finally just works.

Works great!!
This hub is amazing! Works very well. The slots are a nice size so the USB or whatever end you put in it stays and is snug. The light comes on when my laptop is powered up. It also helps remind me to unplug it. I’ve had two USB’S plugged in at the same time. One a cutting machine and the other a printer. Both worked great without slowing down or glitches. It gets a little warm but has not gotten hot at all. It’s a bit heavier than my old one but not overly. I highly recommend this.

Fine product, but some choices are limited
Worked beautifully, with two small caveats. Seems to be a well-constructed product, durable, tiny footprint, easy to work with. I had two issues: (1) you can't close the lid on the laptop, that screen must remain on, and it takes some fiddling with Windows Display settings to establish a good view of your work, the icons, your mouse, etc. And (2) there's no provision for sound. You either use the audio from the laptop, use up one of the 3 USB ports with a USB audio adapter, or do without sound. I'm returning this one and ordering the DisplayLink dock I got for my wife. Triple the price, and you have to install 3rd-party software, but it works the way I want it to.

Seamless all in one hub
Compact and metal-built, it gives you HDMI, Ethernet, SD, USB-A, and 100 W charging in one plug. Works well with dual monitors and wired internet. A few users say the SD reader disconnects, but most report faultless performance

The best available.
Awesome. I seldom write reviews but I had to in this case. This thing works! Well built. The 4k@ 120 HZ is unique. No wasted ports. very fast usb outputs. Sleek and portable. The latest technology all around.

It works very well.
It’s pretty solid dock. The only downside is if you want to run a 4k screen and another 1080p screen, with your laptop screen, it will not allow the 4k screen to be set higher than 30hz. But if you lower the resolution to 1440p/3k it will allow 60hz. But other than that, it’s worth the price. Good deal.

very inexpensive capable device!
I purchased a laptop for work and was looking for an inexpensive and capable way to plug in an old canon printer (not wireless) my external 32" monitor and several additional usb devices as well as the original HP charger....I also added a short USB-C extension cable to the existing usb-c that is part of the device (didn't want the device setting right next to my laptop) the extension cable is all i plug in to my computer and it all works flawlessly and keeps my laptop fully charged!!

Media reading below spec. Cannot be used for charging in general. Doesn't work with large drives.
I rarely leave a 1-star review, but I have decided to reduce my 2-star review to one star. This device is essentially useless. I looked over some of the very brief 5-star reviews and I do not understand why they would be satisfied with this.It cannot work for power distribution, only working when plugged into a computer. Most devices like flash drives and ssd disk drives (except very old ones) do not work. The memory card reader is painfully slow (slower than specified). The manual is useless. I'm going to throw it away and try to find something that actually works.I bought two of these Baseus USB C Hubs, one solely to let me charge USB-A devices from a USB-C Power Distribution chargers. I tried the Hub plugged into to a portable power bank, a dumb USB-C port on an outlet strip and my car's USB-C port. Then I plugged into the Hub various USB-A devices to charge and I also plugged in a USB-C to iPhone Lightning cable to the Hub. The Hub power light came on, but NONE of the combinations did any charging. (Same results with both Hubs). The product description doesn't explicitly claim that this will work, but it certainly doesn't say that it won't. The ONLY thing that works for charging is a computer or like device as a power source. The product manual is useless and gives no clue. The other Hub was intended to replace an antique USB-A hub/card reader attached to my Lenovo Legion Tower 5I gaming computer. I intend to plug in all kinds of stuff, but the primary purpose is reading camera memory cards. I hoped the USB-C connection would be faster.I plugged in a SanDisk Ultra Class 10 SD card rated at 120 MB/S to the new hub and tried copying video files from the card to my desktop's M.4 SSD over a 50 GB connection. I was getting read speeds of 24 MB/S. That's painfully slow. The Hub manual says it is supposed to be 60 MB/s. To make sure it wasn't my computer, I took a relatively new UGREEN dedicated USB-A based card reader and plugged it into the Hub. This time I got 80 MB/S. Same card, same connection to the computer, but much faster! So while I can't provide any data validating the 5GB claims of the Hub, I can say with certainly that its card reader is only a fraction of the advertised speed. There is also a problem using external disk drives. I tried an external SSD drive that uses a USB-C interface, plugged into the Hub. The computer didn't recognize the drive. When I removed the Hub and plugged the drive directly into the cable supplying the Hub, it worked fine.I took three external disk drives with USB-A cables, all of which worked fine with the computer; however only one of the three was recognized by the Hub, the smaller antique 300 MB one. And no, I didn't try to plug in more than one device at a time. My conclusion is that modern large disk drives do not work with the Hub.Otherwise, the Baseus USB C Hub looks good. It feels solid and was well packaged.Reasons for rating:Overall: 1 stars. Poor performance, didn't work for my purposes, useless manual.Light weight: 4 stars. It's a bit heavy but not much.Value for money: 2 stars. Disappointing performance and didn't do what I needed but it was cheap.Easy to use: 2 stars. I wasted an inordinate amount of time validating that it didn't work and the manual was no help.
