I wanted to get this lube for inserting my cup on the last days of my period where I am more sensitive and my flow is light, I think it will make insertion easier. But since my period is 20 days away I used it for intercourse and it is wonderful. After having children and being on hormonal birth control my body doesn't make as much lubricant as it used to, so I always use lube. This area is sensitive and many lubes I've tried can be irritating (creating a burning sensation inside of me) so I was excited to try this. Pixie lube didn't get sticky and didn't irritate my sensitive body at all. I think this will work for my cup during my period (I will update review once I've tried it how it was intended to be used!). Excellent lube for non-cup purposes though (way better than ky and less sticky than astroglide which is what I usually use), I'd continue purchasing for that alone. Price is good, it's a pretty big container and a little of this goes a long way (I think I'll probably only need one pump to put on rim of cup).*update--finally used with my menstrual cup and it worked great. I only needed one pump on rim and a tiny bit on cup near rim, very helpful for insertion, great lube.

If I knew this brand before I would have bought only from you!I own the sterilizer (steamer), the liquid soap and also this lube gel and it works great, it doesn’t irritate or anything.Best way to do it is to apply while squatting, it’s more comfortable. So I had originally purchased the starter kit when I first got a Pixie Cup (well over a year ago), and it came with lube, which worked great - it's so much easier and more comfortable to insert using it than without it. However, earlier this week when I tried to use the bottle (which feels like it's still at least half full), this watery substance came out, and it did NOT work like it had up to this point. But I read that it was recommended to replace after 8 months, so I figured I would just order a new one.I just got the new bottle today. Pro: the size of the bottle is smaller than my original one, which I feel like is good if it loses viscosity over time and needs to be replaced - I feel like I will waste less of it. Con: I am not a fan at all of the no straw air pump. I thought for sure it was defective until I read the answer to the question someone had already asked. It just feels really awkward to hold it almost upside down to pump it out, plus it takes forever for it to start to come out because it's so thick. I'm just curious as to why the decision was made to switch? Maybe just to use less plastic in packaging?At any rate, the pros outweigh the cons for me, and I definitely recommend the product.

I have been using this product for years, and it was the only lube I would use. However, on my most recent purchase I am completely taken aback by how different the product is. The product does not lubricate, and is just straight liquid that drips off the cup. The liquid does not stick, it’s like water and falls right off. Maybe I received a bad one, but I bought like 3 of these travel sized guys and they are all the same.In the past, it was more of a gel consistency and would lubricate well. I am very sad they changed their product because it was the only lubricant that would not give me a yeast infection.

I’ve used Pixie products for over a year now and have really enjoyed everything I’ve used. I reordered this recently and got the incorrect product size. I reached out to their customer service, and they were extremely helpful and beyond willing to assist me in getting my order corrected.
