Bold Flavor That Steals the Picnic Spotlight
These Kettle Brand Backyard Barbeque potato chips are exactly what summer snacking dreams are made of. The flavor is bold and smoky with just the right hint of sweetness—like you’re instantly by the grill, even if you’re just lounging indoors. The chips themselves are perfectly kettle-cooked: nice and thick with a satisfying crunch, and they hold up well under the hearty seasoning. I particularly loved how each bite had just enough kick without being overpowering. One bag goes fast during a Netflix binge or backyard get-together.A couple minor things: the chips can feel a bit greasy if you’re holding them for a while, and the flavor might be too intense for lighter snackers. But in my book, that’s part of the charm—they’re unapologetically bold.Overall, if you want chips with real character that feel crafted rather than mass-produced, these Backyard Barbeque chips are definitely worth buying. Great for picnics, parties, or any time you need a flavorful crunch.

Crunchy with a bit of a kick
I ordered these, along with Cape Cod regular kettle chips, just to try something new. 'Lay's' reducing their bag size while increasing their cost was reason enough to say I won't be wasting my money on their chintzy, salty bag of mostly air. The Kettle Brand spicy barbecue were quite tasty, crunchy, with a bit of a kick, but not too much. They tasted fresh and the price was reasonable with lots of chips.

Good Tuffle flavor, but too much salt.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love the truffle oil potato chips from a store here in the valley but it is a distance from my home to drive so I decided to try these. I like the fact that they are Krinkle Cut. In fact I suspect this is why they survived the shipment. They were packed in the same box as some heavy washing soda I use on our pool and for cleaning the coffee pot. The only problem with these is that they are too salty. Granted they say right on the bag that they have sea salt on them but I wasn't expecting quite as much as there was. Other than that the potato chips had good truffle flavor. I'll probably get them again.

Best jalapeños chips ever!!
These are my favorite go to jalapeño kettle chip. It has a perfect amount of heat and saltiness to them. Good quality kettle chip and a good size bag.

If you love, honey, Dijon or honey mustard, you’ll like this
I’m a huge fan of the honey mustard, pretzels, but I think it’s because there’s so much more surface area on the pretzel and it’s denser so that it counterbalances the powder flavoring. But because these chips are so thin, it covers the entire chip. It’s just too much honey mustard for me to take. It is flavorful, but the density of the pretzel cuts into the flavoring of the honey mustard, which makes it palatable. This is too much. It’s just like eating powder and flavoring. I can’t explain it properly. I’m guessing, but I didn’t enjoy eating these after the first few bites. It was just too much honey mustard flavoring. Maybe if they were lighter on coding it or just coding one side I don’t know it’s just too much for me

Extra crunchy with big dill flavor
Crunchy, with a strong dill hit. They're kettle chips and ridged, so they are extra crunchy, which is what I really enjoy. 4 stars bc either my batch was bordering on stale or they started adding more oil - in either case, they had a more oily aftertaste. I'm going with stale for this batch, and will repurchase, but if they're oily again, I won't come back for more.
