Great product! No issues!
50 Pack Acoustic Foam Panels,2"X 12" X 12." I wanted to wait until I purchased my second set to do this review so that it would be honest and accurate. To be clear, these are not for sound proofing...they are for sound absorption just like a sponge absorbing water. They absorb room reflections but do not block sound. They're foam. One example is for vocals to keep the reverb in the room from coming into the mic. This will not keep noise like cars passing by, helicopters flying above, HVAC, or other noise from coming in hence, they will not block sound and soundproof your area. This is something that you as the consumer need to understand and accept BEFORE you purchase these panels. As sound absorption panels, they are good quality panels and work great! Also, to be clear, I am in no way telling, suggesting, or recommending anyone to NOT purchase these panels. They are good quality panels and I have had no issues with them!First thing to know that it clearly says that the adhesive tape does not come with the panels...you have to purchase your own. These are NOT self-adhesive!Second, when using the adhesive tape like 3m, you will need some additional adhesive like Gorilla Glue as foam doesn't always stick to the adhesive tape or the wall.Third, be patient! The best method is to let them set out for at least three days. The first two days is for the "smell" to air out while getting air in. The third day is an extra measure to examine them to see if any forming needs to be done.Pic 1: When then arrived and after I took the package out of the Amazon Box.Pic 2: When I took them out of the main wrapping. There are two vacuum sealed packs.Pic 3: When I took them out of the main wrapping. Since it's now unsealed, air started coming in and they already started expanding. Note: They expand quickly so prepare to get them out of the back quick!Pic 4: What they looked like 5 minutes later. Some expanded in full and some didn't and are deformed. There are two to each "stack".Pic 5: One of the "stacks" that was still somewhat compressed and deformed.Pic 6: After I pulled apart the stack that was still somewhat compressed. One panel.Pic 7. The other panel. Notice on both panel the triangles are deformed.Pic 8: Me beginning to pull the triangles gently.Pic 9: Me fully and gently pulling the triangles gently. As you can see, it's already getting it's form back. For the panels that are deformed, gently pulling the foam to get it to form helps get more air in and they will get their form quicker! This part takes patience! Those that said the panels would not take shape or stay deformed are not doing this to help shape the panels!Pic 10: All 50 Panels laid out and getting air All of this was done within one hour. They still need air out to completely form. Although the directions state 24 hours, it's better to wait 3 days. On my first set, I sprayed some Febreze to further take out the smell and will do the same to these. This does not take away their absorption properties.

Great!
Iโm very satisfied with this 80-pack of acoustic panels. Installation was incredibly quick and easy, and once in place, they gave my space a clean, professional look.In terms of sound performance, they do a good job reducing echo and absorbing noise, although theyโre not meant for complete soundproofing which is expected for this type of foam. Adhesion will depend on the method you use (I used strong double-sided tape and it worked perfectly).Overall quality is good the material is lightweight yet sturdy. Some panels had slightly imperfect cuts, but nothing that affects the installation or final appearance. Considering the quantity you get, I think the value for money is excellent for anyone looking to improve both acoustics and aesthetics without overspending.easy to install, look great, and do the job for home studios, offices, or recording spaces.

Not 12 by 12 buyer beware.
Decided to try them again. still not 12 inches but made them work. I did have about 10 that would not stick so that was a letdown. First order was super sticky. I ordered enough to do a small bathroom also but did not have enough because of the nonstick ones, so I am returning some. They are easy to install and help just a bit with noise BUT they are not 12 inches. The are 11.75 and I had 3 areas to put them. Exactly 3 foot and 2 exactly 4 foot. So I ended up with an inch and a half not covered. the length of the ceiling. I would have returned if I had measured before I spent 12 hours up and down a ladder. I am going to get some trim wood to cover the space. Something I didn't expect to have to do. They do look nice and stick very good but if I have to pull them down I will ruin the ceiling. I would recommend them whole heartedly if they were as advertised.

Gave my mom some peace and quiet for her Birthday...
I bought my mom some "peace and quite" for her birthday... did her laundry room and she loves it. These squares make ceilings super easy and I used 8 on the 32x80 door. Full coverage is much easier IMO but not required. Honestly once you get the first 4 up you'll likely go get whoever else is home to make sure you're not having a stroke. These panels are super bizarre as they literally create a black hole effect in a room you thought was quiet. Even sealed in the Amazon box they somehow absorb sound lol. My dogs LOVE the rooms with these tiles as the cave like stillness is awesome. These were the first batch of self adhesive panels I'd bought. They are on par with the others I've purchased as far as noise canceling/look. You can pay more for slightly nicer looking panels but now that I've heard both side by side I will not be buying the next price point up because they simply aren't worth it for me personally. The adhesive is NO JOKE you get ONE shot. Peel the backer off one edge and lay it in place with one hand under holding the peeled backer and the other hand on top of the tile holding the sticky edge in place. When you got it close peel the backer off and VERY lightly press and make sure you're still lined up. Once you press down these are permanent IMO. The adhesive is on par with self stick flooring. I did absolutely ZERO base prep... just stuckem up. The adhesive is overkill which is what I personally prefer. I used blue painters tape mark my borders and edges. If you are doing full coverage you could easily do a whole room in an hour or two max.A large HD paper cutter will cut these perfectly straight. I cut half way across and then flip it and finish the cut. You absolutely could use a utility knife and a good straight edge, BUT if you're doing a whole room get a large paper cutter. I'm using a Wescott 15in 30 sheet cutter. The trick for straight cuts is the half cut. Honestly this puts so little stress on the cutter you could return it... but that's on you.Just ordered 3 more sets for my Dad's office. He doesn't get excited about much, but they were both blown away.
