Brilliant little ratchet set
Brilliant little ratchet set. Very small and low profile . Useful for getting into those hard to reach places. Bought mine to replace a tricky light cluster mounted in a car bumper. Saved me from taking the entire bumper assembly off.

Great set
This is a wonderful little set, very strong and small enough to take anywhere. Thanks

Great little tool.
Easy to put in your toolbox or picket and great for on site work where little fiddly parts are often unexpected

cheap light EDC
I'm reviewing from the perspective of wanting ratchet+bits for my bicycle EDC toolkit. The Bosch ratchet is very light. It has an 8mm ring spanner on the other end (less useful than I had hoped - nowadays I just carry a separate 8/10 spanner). I'm not sure the ratchet is very robust. Early on I jammed the mechanism and had to use an L key to re-seat it; I am not convinced it would stand up to being used with an 8mm hex bit and a cheater bar to tighten cranks. Because of that, after about six months, I replaced it with a Wera, which is rated at 60Nm, feels lovely in your hand, and came with their really nice hex-plus bits. After carrying that for a while, I discovered the Prestacycle, which has a different body but is basically the same mechanism as the Wera, just modified so that the extra-long bit-holder extension can double as a t-handle or cheater bar. (I think Topeak and Facom ratchets are also the same mechanism.)I haven't used the sockets but they look fine. The Bosch bits are fairly nondescript. The Phillips head bit showed noticeable wear after only a few uses and the hex bits occasionally slipped and rounded bolts. The Wera bits show little sign of wear and the hex-plus profile has yet to slip. (I haven't used the Prestacycle bits but they are S2 so should be quite hard-wearing.)If you don't need the extender or a lot of torque, the budget-friendly Bosch will be great if you want something really light and small. The Wera has fantastic bits and is very nice to use but a set costs about 5x as much as the Bosch. The mid-range Prestacycle (3x the price of the Bosch set) with bit-extender/cheater/t-bar is the most versatile.

Bosch bit box
It's a Decent set and the Ratchet spanner is of decent quality.

Very well made, versatile, excellent value.
Not the kind of thing you need very often, but on certain occasions it becomes essential. Might not use the hex sockets much (if access is awkward then surely decent ring spanners etc will get into tight gaps better), but the drivers are incredibly useful. The ratchet drive is all well made but the forward/reverse switch is small and not as 'engineered' as the rest of the set. All works well though. Also takes any other hex bits you may have around (Torx etc).An absolute bargain, far better quality than I could reasonably expect for the price, highly recommended.

Useful kit, well made, reasonable price.
I've used Bosch products for a while in my property maintenance service and never had any real issues. This little kit stays in my main tool box with my drill and hand tools and caters for most needs with a good range of bits, sockets and all contained in a plastic carry case.So far I'd recommend this and feel that it's good value considering the quality and what you get for the price.

Very handy - when it worked (passed tense!)
I really needed a shallow ¼" drive ratchet - and Bosch came up trumps! But, 11 months after buying it, and with only occasional use in a light engineering environment the ratchet mechanism has failed - when using to undo, it skips and goes back to "do up" - I contacted Bosch, they said contact Amazon - I contacted Amazon, they said contact Bosch .. Bosch were useless and have ceased replying to me .. it may only be £17, but for a premium brand their service was terrible (Bosch that is)
