Great product, my son loves the shusshing sound. Portable and lightweight, easy to use on the go. Only downside is it turns off after 30mins and doesn't fade out so this can sometimes cause him to wake up. To restart it before it finishes you have to click through the two other sounds which can also wake him but overall really good product. Calms the baby down and helps him to sleep.

Its a very nice device for new born babies. The only drawback is the 30 mins timer as it needs to be started again while baby is asleep. Other than that its quite sturdy in quality and handy in size.

Love this! We use it all of the time to help our baby settle.. going ssshhhh got very exhausting so we can now turn on this machine and it does it for us and we pat my son until he drifts off and it continues for 10-30 mins depending how you set it. Used the white noise too occasionally and never the womb noise as he doesn't seem to like it! Only problem is, in a dimly lit room (where most people try to get babies to sleep!) there is no way of seeing the buttons- I have to shine a light on it which takes time and often hinders my attempts to put the baby down!!

We took our baby for a photo shoot, and the photographer had one of these to keep the babies calm. It was unbelievably good, so we had to buy one. Our daughter falls asleep almost instantly when this is on, it’s the best £20 I’ve ever spent.

I would love this product if it had the option to run for more than 30 minutes. It works great for baby to sleep, however almost always it immediately wakes up after the timer is up. So I need to be alert every 30 minutes or so to turn on the machine again.Furthermore the night lamp is not bright enough, if you want to use it for breastfeeding + of dark in the room, you hardly can find the bitten to turn it on.

We were introduced to the Munchkin Shh Sleep Machine through our newborn photographer and we were so impressed we ordered one that evening! Our little one calms down and falls into a deep sleep with the shushing sound it makes. It has three sounds: shushing, white noise and heartbeat. All three are fantastic! The volume is also spot-on as the loudest setting can be heard through thick brick walls which is great if I have to nip with the baby to her nursery or living room! I believe every newborn parent needs this as a major helper during those difficult times. Highly recommend!

Some constructive criticism….. the batteries last only a couple of hours, and there are two screws, a twist lock and a very poorly designed plastic catch to get to them. When you remove the first screw, two very small washers fall out which are pretty easy to lose and pretty tricky to orientate correctly.It’s pretty much hell to put batteries in. Once they’re in, you’re good for a couple of hours, restarting the noise every 30 mins. After a couple of hours- you’re back to the start with batteries. Oh lord it’s so bad. No one needs this thing. It’s predatory marketing to new parents, capitalising on the frustration of sleep deprivation.When the batteries are eventually in for the couple of hours it even turns on, it’s not really loud enough- it doesn’t compete with traffic noise or any other sounds.It’s probably the worst product, for anything I’ve ever purchased. It’s a load of landfill your children and their children will have to deal with. Hard avoid if you’re a busy parent who might forget to return it within the returns period.
