SpeickSpeick Men Shaving Soap Stick - 50g

My father prefers a soap for shaving and used Palmolive for years - tried many others but each one was a disappointment. Now we have found the holy grail!! Excellent quality item and a fragrance reminiscent of old barber shops. Please continue making this shaving stick- it is superb!

As a face-latherer I just rub the stick on my wet face briefly, and then lather up with a brush. What I found with the old fashioned British makes (Erasmic, Palmolive) and the Turkish soap sticks was that my face would smart afterwards. I assume that this was because of the cheapness of the soap, a high level of caustic soda residues, and the fact that I had rubbed the soap itself directly on to my face. Speick is quite different. It's a refined soap with a classy smell. It gives me a much better shave than any of the cheaper shaving soap sticks, and with no discomfort at all. It gives really excellent results!

Speick Shaving Men's StickThe good:- quick to use- quite economical- compact- like every shave stick or solid soap shave product I've used, I found it to not cause skin irritation problems, unlike every can of shaving foam I've ever used. Eventually the chemical stabilisers etc used in gas foaming products cause inflammation.The bad:- the foam is very short lived - a few seconds at most. I'm pretty sure the last Speick shave stick I had was much better. All the Palmolive shave sticks I've used were much better, with long lasting foam- skin lubrication was no better than cheap solid hand soap - so not much better than plain water. Again, Palmolive sticks had good skin lubrication to aid shaving. Sad they're no longer available.

This is an excellent product and so affordable. The scent is really, really good. It’s very compact and goes a long way too, should last you a long time. I’ll definitely buy more when needed.
