I ordered this product in Medium for a bilateral Inguinal hernia which was just a bit too large for my 29" waist; When I replaced with a Small it fit nearly perfect. I have been using this for about 1 week and can honestly say it works fantastic for my needs. I have this hernia for a few years, and used another product (beige) from Amazon a few years back which was not nearly as comfortable.That other product had velcro that just did not hold during the day. My work as a licensed doctor (specialty not disclosed) involves me bending, crouching & doing a LOT of physical activity all day long. The first belt three years ago I had to retrofit with snap on clasps to keep it from opening as the crappy Velcro would come lose constantly. It was just NOT comfortable either with the clasping I had to sew on myself, nor the front pads that were supposed to apply the pressure in my groin. These were very hard and overall a very uncomfortable experience.Not this belt. So far the pads are cushy foamy and just the right firmness to do the job while allowing me to work and NOT even think about the belt. The velcro so far stays in place with no slip or coming lose. My only gripe: The two straps that run from the front to the back between my legs, and attach via. velcro to the back waist strap are too long. I have to pull them up the back and then down the inside to attach them. If the straps were like 2 or 3 inches shorter the fit would be perfect. It's not a big deal except often the horizontal belt that wraps around my waist in the back tends to fold over inside my pants from the pull, and occasionally I do get a 'weggie' feeling when one of those straps slips close to my butt.Other than these minor inconveniences I can say this is a worthwhile belt and has solved my issues to make me work comfortable to the point I don't even feel any outward pressure from the hernia, nor inward pressure from the pads or the product. Good design and almost great fit.

Got this praying it would help. It did. Immediately. The pressure really helps hold the hernia in and take the edge off. I don’t even use the leg straps, it works just fine. Sizing is true.

Arrived quickly, seemed to be well made, but it was missing the groin straps that keep the pressure on the hernia site. No information for contacting the company with questions /customer service was included, so I just returned it, and the replacement arrived next day, well before the estimated delivery date. That one had all the parts, but trying it on revealed it to be too large, even though I had measured myself per their sizing instructions; it gave very little compression or support as it was. I’d recommend getting a size smaller than what their chart shows. I exchanged that one for the next size down, which again arrived next day, no hassles (I was feeling bad for hassling them by now). Fits much better. I have a unilateral truss that I was already using for the worst side of my bilateral hernia. This one is lower profile and more comfortable to wear, but does not provide as much compression as the unilateral one (maybe two sizes smaller would have gotten me there). So depending on what I will be doing that day I swap between the two, and things work out.

Works great! I got this for my husband and he does a lot of heavy lifting and strenuous work, so this was a blessing until he can get his surgery. The feed back in the reviews really helped make the decision on purchasing this above product. It's work the money and the material holds up extremely well.

I gat a bad Hernia a month ago and was told to get a brace until surgery. # days before my surgery the left padding kept coming out of the strap and not staying in place. I meant to ask for a refund but my surgery came up and now that I can finally get out of bed AND using the HOSPITALS strap provided, I realized its past return time. Long story short, IT WONT LAST AND NOT MADE CORRECTLY, make sure you have someone to get it returned in the time line if you go to the hospital too soon...

Great for post hernia surgery . Assists in feeling able to walk . Will try this also for post surgery
