Awesome price for the features
Seems like a great unit have always liked Dell. The power plug is smaller than my older units, but I expect great durability. Bought this to replace my work laptop which died after 5 years of abuse! This is my third Dell I expect it last just as long. Has touch screen which doesn't seem to sensitive, the whole thing is very lite and has mosterous storage capacity. 2 freaking Terabytes! I've already had it grinding away for a few hours transfer a couple hundred gigs of data! The other reviews say its slow I have not noticed that, but DELL did install alot of crap that I don't use mostly antivirus and support programs. Great laptop at a great price !

So far so good. I bought this model after my Acer's hard drive kept dying and eventually wouldn't boot. Had all the features I wanted from a DVD drive to ethernet port, 3 USB ports (2 3.0 ports), 1 HDMI port, 1 SD card slot and touch screen (no backlit keyboard). Has 8GB memory and 2T drive with more enough storage. Speed seems okay...not super, but it will do for what I use it for. Has some Dell apps on it I haven't used and probably won't. Overall it seems pretty versatile with ample connectivity and storage for the price. Can't judge reliability yet because I've only had it a couple of weeks or so, but Dell ranked reasonably on reliability by the various tech reviewers out there. So far it's working for me!

Say no to bloatware
I was skeptical at first but this computer is amazing! I had a prior Dell Inspirion and this is replacing it. I got many good years out of that computer. This computer was slow at first but I automatically went and removed all the bloatware of it, now it is blazing fast! I love the touchscreen and size of the screen. Overall, this computer has been great! I hope it lasts as long as my last Inspirion.. Great job Dell!Update after 3 months: Can’t complain with it at all, it has run fantastic after disabling all the bloatware and windows 10 services!

SLOW. Horribly slow.
Let me start by saying, I have owned 5 Dell computers in my lifetime, I love them, it's all I ever buy and swear to others that they are the greatest computers. Not anymore. This is the first "Dell" product that I've absolutely loathed. The only reason? It's slow. Really slow. Painfully slow. From the first day I opened it up, all I do is wait for this thing. I can brew a cup of coffee after turning it on, come back, and it's still not up. I wanted it for internet browsing and MS Word and Excel, that's it. No gaming or fancy programs. I've removed the "bloatware" that new computers come with these days, nothing has helped. Here's the best example I could come up with: I ran a test. I started a timer from the time I hit the "Power On" button on this laptop until the time I was able to open up Chrome to write this review. Any other computer I've ever owned was only 1 minute, 2 tops if I had a lot of programs installed. Literally, "On" button, type in "pin" the second it pops up, move mouse to click on Chrome = 4 minutes, 54.79 seconds! Folks that's beyond RIDICULOUS! Everything about this thing is a sluggish disappointment. Only recommend this laptop to your in-laws or mortal enemies.

Surprising quality for the price
I had given up on PC after the Windows 8 nightmare. I’m about the fourth work day that was wasted trying to deal with that ridiculousness I left the office, went straight to a computer store, and bought a MacBook Air out of sheer rage. Never had a moment of trouble with it and swore I would never buy another PC. Recently I hired an assistant who has never used a Mac, and I didn’t want to spend Mac money, so I bought this for her. It’s been perfect so far. I’m no tech expert but I know a crappy computer when I see one, and this is not one of them. I was using iCloud but needed to switch to OneDrive because I don’t want my assistant in my personal photos, etc. Now I’m planning to buy a second one for myself since the MacBook Air makes it hard for me to use OneDrive. It’s cool that it has a touch screen too. I didn’t think I would care about that but it’s handy every once in a while.

Great product!
This is a great product. No problems at all whatsoever. I have been able to work on my blog beautifully. It's a great size. Keyboard works smoothly. I am not big fan of the touchpad mouse so I didn't get wirelessousr for it, but never really liked those touchpad mouse anyway.

Slow out of the box. Lots of tweaks to make it acceptable
I had to uninstall the built in Intel and Dell enhancements to solve high CPU usage and unbearable slowness.First keep your Windows 10 OS up to date. When all updates are done,Reinstall all the drivers - The Dell utility is actually useful here.Once OS and drivers are updated, uninstall all nonessential Intel and Dell software. Examples:1. Intel Thermal management. This laptop is not a gaming laptop. So you don't need this for regular office work and even active programming tasks.2. Intel Rapid Storage technology etc.. Windows 10 is capable of handling a single hard drive. You don't need this.3. Dell maintenance tools and drivers. Use windows update to keep things updated after you do it the first time using Dell tools. You don't need this.4. Other trial software that may have come with your laptop5. Install a registry and disk cleaner like CCleaner and choose "ALL" options wherever it prompts you.6. Uninstall the default free antivirus that comes with the laptop. Its full of bloatware. Then install a clean antivirus of your choice (free or paid).6. Restart the laptop one last time and you should be good.Lastly please remember this is a mechanical hard drive laptop. So after all this tweaks your Laptop will be good for most personal and official work but its not a full multimedia and gaming machine.
