You need a pump
You will not be able to inflate these without a pump! I used a bigger crochet hook to tie it off just like you would a standard ballon. They are thick skinned so you don’t have to worry about them popping and they are completely clear. You do have a seam that goes all the way around the ballon, but I don’t think it detracts from the look enough for me to put a pause in the idea. You get a ton of them, I had a few pop from over filling. Most of mine were about the size of a baseball, The biggest they got was be slightly smaller than a softball, but it is not super easy to get them this big. We did not spend time stretching them as others mention they did, maybe they get larger that way.

Impossible to use
I tried everything, balloon pump, the industrial pump my husband has. Either they wouldn't blow or they exploded.I stretched the hell out of them, my back hurt for how much I stretched them. My husband helped.I think he could blow one or two after a ton of tries, we decided not to waste our time, it would take hours to make a small garland. Not even worth it to return them, since a lot of them exploded.

Helped Create and Allergy-Free Balloon Arch
We used several types of non-latex balloons to create a backdrop for my mother's 90th birthday party. Several attendees have severe latex allergies. They were perfect to help create an allergy-free back drop for her head table.

They look like bubbles but are a lot of work
First - these will not work with helium and are too heavy to float. I originally wanted to float them with a foil balloon to look like a rubber ducky in the tub. That didn’t work.Second - they are very difficult to blow up and have to be stretched well or they burst. They also burst if blown up too fast. They need to be double knotted or they leak. I used a manual balloon pump to inflate them.I’m not a balloon professional so maybe this wouldn’t be news to anyone else but if you are a casual balloon user - be prepared for work. Picture is of the way I used the balloons after they didn’t float

Popped a lot, got a few small ones.
Hopefully won't have to do many of these. However, the only way I could blow them up with the handheld pump was to blow dry them a few seconds on low heat. Impossible to "pull". Then had to seal them on a electric heat sealer on low. What a pain is my full answer. I'd rather use the clear colored latex balloons. Hobby person here, not a professional balloon artist.Update: today I tested them again. Used a heating pad on low heat to warm the bubbles up. Then blew them up, sealed them with heat sealer machine. Now to see if they hold air and for how long.

Very tedious to pump up.
I'd suggest getting a slightly bigger size. Maybe 9 inch if they have it. Stretch and two pumps and it's over. You can't use a regular pump. You have to use a hand pump which after awhile you'll be tired of that. It works. Shape was good. I used these to look like bubbles. Quality is good but one too many pumps and they pop. The inflate well. It looks just like the photo. As described.

Bubble balloons
Perfect for my sons Halloween costume. Got many questions and compliments on how the bubbles look so real! Also noted a bike pump works great to blow them up!
