Another Great Sitivien knife
I have a number of Sitivien knives. This brand uses different plants to produce their designs. I believe this particular model was produced in the Hansa mfg. plant in China. That's the same plant where Ganzo Firebird,Free Tiger, and some Eafengrow, knife brands are also made.Jufule is the other company that seems to be making many of the Sitivien and Eafengrow knives. You can spot the difference when you carefully look at the pivot screw and the pocket clips,on the different models. The pivot screw on the Hansa plant made knives look the same. Look at the Ganzo Firebird knife models(Top reviewed brand on many Youtube knife channels)and you'll see the same pivot screw and at times, pocket clips. The Jufule made knives for Sitivien and Eafengrow have different pivot screws and pocket clips. I've bought a few of them as well. Now there are differences. And in my experience, the Hansa made knives are slightly better. The lockup is early, which I don't have a problem with, and the production tolerances seem more consistent, and better. Some of the Jufule made Sitivien and Eafengrows have had slight wiggle, side to side,or lock rock, and I don't like that particulalry. The Jufule made knives do seem to lock up much later though. But I've never had a problem with the Hansa made ones. The lock up has been consistently solid. Also, the Hansa produced knives have been consistently sharper. Now,this model, the Sitivien ST152. It's large. It's weight is good for the size. I don't like lightweight, under 4.oz.knives that have a 3.3 to 4.0 inch blade. When they're this light, the liners are usually too thin, and the blade will then flex at the neck. If you only want a box cutter,or small twine,or small zip ties, then they're fine. But for me,4.3 to 5oz knives are better and stronger. This model has a large flat grind which is thin behind the edge. It came sharper than a number of my other knives, which cost more. No lock rock,or side to side play. Though the handle is larger,it's not that wide. I have small hands so this works out good for me.The detent is perfect, and it drops shut. It doesn't get much better than this. This is a big,all purpose, useable knife, that's not to heavy. It would be good for camping or fishing as well as food prep. The blade is thin and will cut vegetable and fruit well. And it will shred boxes easily. Now Civivi knives are made light, with thinner handles, and thin behind the edge grinds. I generally don't like them because they're not heavy duty enough. And in a self defense, tactical, situation, I wouldn't trust them. This model is similar to the Civivi Praxis,or Incite, but half an oz. heavier. For the price, you can't beat this Sitivien St152 if you like Civivi. I haven't used it enough yet to know if this K110 steel is as good as the Petrified Fish knives that I have that are also made of Bohler K110 D2. But the Eafengrows and Sitivien knives that are d2 have been tested by the Luv them Knives (LTK)youtube reviewer. And they tested well, they're real d2,and they're pretty hard steel. For those picky about knife steels, and pay a huge amount for M390,or CPM S90V,etc, many of the Ganzo Firebirds D2 (made in the Hans plant), were testing at over 60 HRC! Do you really need better than that for a folding knife? For me,that's fine. Only my Japanese Chef knives, which I sharpen on Japanese whetstones, are harder than 60 Hrc. In fact,a number of the VG10 knives I have are close to the same hardness as the D2 Chinese folding knives. If you're looking for a larger, budget, well made G10 linerlock, you should consider this model, the Sitivien St152. I also bought the Sitivien ST141 a little while ago. That's a great knife as well. Made in the same Hansa Plant in China. The weight is about the same, the blade is slightly smaller, the handle is fatter, and the behind the edge thickness is slightly more. The St141 came pretty sharp as well. I'd say it's equal to the St152 in sharpness. But the thinner blade and edge on the St152 allows it to cut through things slightly better. I can recommend the St141 as well though. It's just slightly smaller, weighs about the same, but for self defense,or an edc,it's better. But if you plan on doing any food prep, like on a picnic,or camping, the Sitivien ST152 is the best choice. The only other knife I have that's good for the same reasons,is the Ruike P105 "fang",which has 14c28n steel. Now that model by Ruike is one of the best budget knives you can get as well. The only other big budget knife that beats these models is the Petrified Fish P838 (carbon fiber model because it's cooler!),at $35. Now that knife weighs more, just under 6.0z, but it's a beast. I bought two of those as well as the Ruike P105,and these knives came very sharp. But those knives have fatter handles as well. So if you want a big, thinner handled, and thin behind the edge grind, liner lock, the St152 is the one to get. Like a half priced Civivi with K110 steel.

A very nice knife
Bought this for $27. This is my fifth Sitivien knife. All of them have been pretty good, but this one may be the best thus far. Apparently all the hype I've read about this particular model is true. This is a very nice knife. I know all knives are not created equal... that some will arrive defective in some way. (I don't consider “not being sharp” a true defect, since I anticipate having to sharpen them over there lifespan anyway.) I have returned two knives thus far (Amazon has a great return policy) for what I saw as flaws that I did not want to accept, and they promptly sent me a replacement which turned out to be satisfactory. Sorry I digressed, now on with my review... The fit and finish on this knife is very good. The blade has a nice, simple hefty design, and is actually pretty sharp. It opens/closes very easily/smoothly. The blade lockup is crisp/strong with no wiggle, and the blade is nicely centered when closed. The blade detent is pretty good... closing the blade with a nice snap, and allowing the blade to be flipped open easily. The lockbar releases the blade easily allowing a good free fall to closure, and there is a nice access to the lockbar. The pocket clip is OK as most pocket clips go. All of the edges of the scales are nicely finished smooth and flush with the blacked out frame. There is nice jimping on both the blade and the flipper. But, despite all of the good positive things... 1) I did have to tighten the two clip screws, and one of the scale screws. Not much, but they did snug up more. (I always check the screws.) 2) Despite the overall great finish of this knife, it has one minor finishing flub. If I slide my thumb all the way to the end of the lockbar, I can feel a sharp edge/point on the end of the lockbar. It should be polished to remove the sharpness. Why don't manufacturers finish this one tiny detail? It doesn't seem to be associated with the cost of the knife either. I have $8 and $10 knives that have this nicely polished. (This sharp point, however, really doesn't come into play in normal use. I just like to pick at this oversight by manufacturers.) Overall, this is a great knife. This is a knife I personally would not want to carry around all the time because of its large size, but it is a well made solid knife that will make an excellent addition to my growing collection of “inexpensive” EDC knives.

Great Knife
Awesome knife! This knife has a great action on it, very smooth. Feels great and has a hefty feel to it. I love knives on the bigger side so I really like this one. I will say that the tip did break off of mine. I was using it for the unintended purpose of some light prying so just keep that in mind. Id say for the price you cant beat it, Ive compared it to a few around the same price range and it wasn't even close, this one was way better.
