So far so good . I originally purchased this product to scare away unwanted stray animals. I'm Still learning how things work but so far it does exactly 💯 what it stated it would. The ability to record your voice and play it is a big plus. The dog bark is loud and vicious. The gunshot sounds like a 12 gauge rifle being let off very loud and surely works for stray animals and unwanted intruders. The motion Sensitivity is amazing. I plan to come back to update my review after using it for awhile.Its definitely worth every penny.

This thing really works! I bought it not expecting much but I’m glad I was wrong. Works great on cats, raccoons skunks, and deer. The only critter that was somewhat resistant to it was a possum, although it finally did run off, it seemed to investigate the unit for a few seconds before deciding to leave the area. I love this thing and just bought another one for a different area of my property.

It worked - we didn't see deer on the trail camera anymore. Then it stopped working after 2 months. Hopefully, the deer will remember that something was barking there and will not come back very soonUpdate: I got a refund from the company for the non-working alarm. Now I'm going to use the refund for the new one as this device is really effective. We had a lot of deer walking through our remote garden and nothing stopped them from eating everything we planted. But since we installed this alarm, our trail camera didn't record any deer! And even more: for the last two years, groundhogs have dug holes and tunnels between squash plants, probably looking for the shaded place. But no groundhog digging since the alarm was installed! Our trail camera still catches turkey. It looks like the turkey doesn't care for the sound. But we don't mind it as it doesn't cause any damage. I'm hoping the new alarm will be the same effective and will last longer.

Having trouble with Raccoons, I set up this device and it works beautifully as a deterrent. I set it to "barking dogs" to operate only at night, and it works beautifully. You can adjust the sound from gunshots, to barking dogs, to a recorded message. Flashing red lights too! Different operational settings are great for whatever your circumstances are, Adjustable volume so you wont disturb your neighbors. I have never had to recharge it. It does get about 6 hours of sun per day and works all night.

Product works very well for me. Keeps the deer out of my garden. It can detect movement within a large area. Alarm is very loud.

I bought my first Hulppre alarm in 10/2024. At the time my cars werebeing attacked by squirrels who wanted to grind down their teeth.This alarm, shaped like a box, when placed on the ground and pointing underneath a carvery effectively repelled squirrels. A squirrel then became adeptat hiding behind a tire from the noise. I eventually bought morealarms so I could place one at the front and one at the rear of each car.This has been the only solution that worked to my squirrel problem.Squirrels get used to the noise and learn to ignore it, but apparentlythe volume is so high at close range that the noise is intolerable.The alarms occasionally produce false positives in a rainstormwhen wind blows nearby vegetation around, but I can live with this.I also wanted to say something about Amazon delivery: I have experienced nothingbut stellar (fast, reliable, to my door) deliveries for many products. Iam astonished when comparing to any of the other delivery services.No, I'm not being compensated in any way for this review.

Love the alarm. Would like the option to turn the lights off! Ended up putting black duct tape over the lights to only have the barking dogs sound.

Years ago I made something similar to this from a Radio Shack voice module, PIR sensor, wall wart, and a project box. It was to keep my mom's dog from getting into trouble in the kitchen. I joked that it was a good idea for a product, but coworkers said their dogs would just ignore it. All of the parts probably cost more than this product and it took some time to assemble. Plus we didn't think of other applications.Now years later after that DIY box was given away, I wanted something similar to scare away an animal that's been causing some trouble in our backyard at 2 am. What does this product have that mine didn't? It's weatherproof, has a rechargeable battery with solar cells to charge it, has a flashing light, has the ability to have it disabled during the day (plus more options), and a remote control. Plus you can order one and likely get it within a day or two. Thanks so much for making this product, and saving me a lot of time building something inferior.The gun shot noise is a bit over the top! I don't want someone getting freaked out and calling the police at 2 AM LOL
