Best smoke alarm on the market.
It was well worth paying that bit extra for excellent quality.So easy to install. Mains operated with battery backup. Quick job to replace the battery when required.You must read the wiring instructions carefully. And use a two probe tester to confirm the live and neutral wiring.It looks very good as well.

Upgraded units, easy fit.
Needed to update existing units which were well out of date.Product description showed that my existing units had been upgraded and the detection system altered.Ordered two new units which arrived the following day.Easily installed and tested today - good result to my mind and better quality.

Good backwards compatibility
I brought these to replace my 12 year old Aico E168RC smoke alarms that were randomly accutating. I wanted to stay with with trusted brand. On receiving I was delighted to find that they were a direct replacement for my old alarms . Sliding onto the old bases. This was great as they are still interlinked by wireless instead of me having to run a new interlink connection.

Excellent!
An excellent replacement for the Ei141, since it fits perfectly onto the same baseplate. Additionally, moving to the Optical sensor means we haven't had a single false alarm from kitchen fumes since fitting them :)
