New Hostess Banana Twinkies - 10 Pack

Food is always a hard one to review because its a subjective and personal choice towards texture and flavourings but if you like twinkies anyway and you like banana flavour then the banana ones are definitely worth a taste.

After not having any Twinkies for nearly 20 years, I had to try the banana!!Was a great treat, only one small thing, the after taste of the banana was a bit grainy which really tasted odd.But according to friends in Wales and England, at least there's no real expiry date!! LoL 🤣😂

I've never had a twinkie before and when I saw they did a banana flavoured one I decided to give it a try.The one thing I would warn people about is just how insanely sweet these cakes are. It was like they had concentrated pure sugar and then made it sweeter still. While you expect sweetness with these types of snacks, it felt very over powering. American made food products tend to have a lot of sugar in them, which is why they have such health problems. So these are obviously flavoured for an American pallet, that is more numb to sweetness in their foods.Still even though they were an experience, they were nice and I did wolf them down within a couple hours. They are worth a try, but I wouldn't get them regularly. With so much sugar packed into these cakes, I wouldn't recommend giving them to children, as they will be bouncing off the walls for hours with a massive sugar rush. You have been warned!

Very nice cakes , flavour isn’t super strong but you can taste banana, easily addictive

Didn’t know the history of twinkies being made with banana until I found these and researched twinkies! Sad I know lol but they are absolutely amazing just when you think twinkies can’t get better they did!!!

Who doesn't like a twinky there all lovely but buy the box you won't stop at one you'll wish you ordered 2 boxes

The twinkies were all rock hard and inedible. No date on them so I don't know if they were actually out of date or not.
