Building on the success of the outline boot the threshold boot continues to offer comfort at a great price. A slip resistant outsole keeps you sure footed. Waterproof to keep your feet dry in wet conditions. Leather upper for durability and a soft removable insole for comfort.

Great shoe, better price, awesome features!
Pros - GREAT looking boot, steel toes, study construction rubber soles and so far comfortable! Love the eyelet lacing, leather body, and waterproof aspect.Con - Just that they ran MUCH larger than the suggested size and shoe sizes I've ordered in the past. I had to go down a full size and that is very odd.I bought two for the sale price and hope they will last a good beating.

BOSS-SHOE
These boots are b@d-@$$, super sturdy and functional. When purchasing if you know your actual shoe size i would recommend ordering a pair based on that actual shoe-size because i purchased mine as a (10) to be on the safe side when i typically wear (9.5) but despite the extra space, tightening the lace made the fit work... cant wait to buy my second pair, the price is worth the security you receive, excellent cushioning, slip resistant and as long as your not going to a formal event then its wearable where-ever you want although the weight can be off-putting to go everywhere in it.

Nice!
Had these before, they are comfy and light weight. Very durable and is good for snow as well. Good hiking boots as well Hut has the steel toe which makes it a lil on the heavy side

solid work boot
Overall, this is a solid work boot. The steel toe offers great protection and the wide fit makes it comfortable for long days on the job. I feel sturdy and stable when wearing them, which is important for construction work. They are on the heavier side, but that matches the type of heavy work I do, so it’s not a big issue. The boots are also listed as waterproof, though I haven’t had a chance to fully test that feature yet. For the price and durability, I’d give these 4 stars.

Got these as backup boots.
I work in a car factory 12 hours a day. I bought a pair of timberland pros and they are already getting very damaged the first week of wear for $160-170 for the pair. I used my work botot credit on them. Horrible product. I got these as a backup and they look and feel like an actual pair of boots meant for working people. Not a fashion statement for wannabe hard workers. When my timberlands fail, which of course they will with the cheap construction and low quality leather, I will be wearing these full time. The build quality on these looks and feel solid. These reminds me of my keen industrial hikers which outlasted everything I've ever owned, but at a fraction of the cost.

Why Did My Husband Return From Hiking with Feet Like a WWI Doughboy in the Trenches?
I specifically looked for work/hiking boots that were supposed to be waterproof (as it claimed in the description) and durable. Preferably steel-toed. It was a birthday present for my husband, very much in need of new boots, who not only works with heavy materials on a regular basis but also is a prolific hiker. His first hike in these new boots with little wear, he came home with absolutely soaked feet. Like borderline trench foot soaked feet. If I pay for something that claims to be waterproof, whether on this site or anywhere, I would like to actually receive something that is waterproof, not water-shy, or mulling over how it would prefer to not be in water rather than actually keep it out. He did not slop around in a pond, water did not rise above the tops of his boots and seep in that way, he did not immerse himself in a giant puddle for half an hour with these on or anything -- just hiking in the Sierra Nevada. Is it a moist environment in spring? Yes. Hence the wish to wear waterproof boots of substance, I was trying to plan against his being soaked through upon return. I thought Caterpillar would fit the bill. The reviews seemed decent. The brand is popular. My (and his) disappointment are profound. We can't throw money at shoes like this only to have them be useless, what else can I say.
