HGAlgae & Mould Remover, Concentrated Outdoor Path & Patio Cleaner, Green Algae Remover, Gentle on Stone Surfaces, Biocide Paving Slab Cleaner - 1 Litre

I used this to clean up my gran's headstone as my mum and aunt were going to buy a new one and I thought I'd give this a go first. After scrubbing with a brush the headstone looks like it's brand new and has saved my mum and aunt the hassle of getting a whole new headstone.

Decent product, our patio gets so slippery with algae and surface dirt it's a real hazard. This product makes the surface safe again. I wouldn't say it's the best cleaner as the patio still looks a bit stained, but I will find something else for that. Priority was to get rid of the slipperiness.

I haven't tried this yet but is was recommended to me by a friend and they told me how good it is so I am looking forward to using it on my patio.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Works well, better if you do it on a dry spell so it has longer to burn into the algae.

I have just tried this on my washing machine has quite black round the rubber ,glad I ordered 2 bottles tho as I needed to repeat again as needed it,got no complaint it is realy good ,and doing the job,have some left now so can use on other places,good instructions on the bottles, realy pleased with outcome of washing machine.

Good product took some time to arrive

Reading the other reviews you wouldn't think this would work well however i used it on my stone flags with good results. Definitely cleaner and has killed the algae . First i treated with ratio as described so 1:20, then i think i used 1:10 for flags with excessive algae. I know i'll have to retreat in 6 months or so but will do nicely for now. also used on a fence but probs needs another spray as it hasnt all cleared..

We searched high and low for a product to kill algae but not plants. My husband applied this to our house external walls in preparation for painting - as they had some green algae growth - and to save pressure washing up a 3 stage ladder! I was very naggy about him using the correct concentration because I hated the thought of my plants in the flowerbeds being poisoned! He dutifully measured everything out very carefully and sprayed the whole house while we had a few dry days.Ultimately, we're not convinced it did anything at all to the algae - it looked the same a week later but we hope it may have been stopped. Perhaps a stronger solution would work but we wouldn't risk that with all the plants surrounding the house.I have to say, I am a massive fan of HG products - their mould cleaner for the bathroom and the drain cleaner are both excellent - so it may just be us with this one.
