Must have!
Both my first grades use these at school! They are a great contribution to our hw station and helping with their counting. Definitely recommended 👌

Small and durable.
They were Christmas gifts for my violin studio as repetition counters. These are cute and small enough to fit in the pocket of a violin case. Also, very durable showing no signs of breakage with use. The students love them and have made great progress.

Good Quality
I am a first grade teacher and am very pleased with these. They are made well, and the beads are good size for little hands. I didn't find them "loud" at all as one user commented. They could be used at the rug laying flat on the ground, or upright at students' desks. I think for a class set of 25, the price is actually quite reasonable. I've purchases a few other hand2mind items, and have them all to be well made and of good quality. I would definitely recommend these.

Portable abacus
My son loves our full size abacus, but it's not portable so we were looking for a small version. These are perfect! Easy to throw in the backpack and he loves it. Great quality and we like the red and white colors.

One of them broke
Worked well for a bit, but then one of the poles came out of the base and we had to glue it back down.

Multiple uses, sturdy and well built!
Good for kids, explaining numbers and sturdy build that has withstood the wrath of a 2 year old and 4 year old! It is probably not something that will keep their attention on its own but useful for teaching purposes. I am surprised it has lasted this long as it is generally thrown in a large toy bin with other, much bigger toys. What you see is what you get and that is a good thing. I also use it to count sets and reps while exercising, works pretty well for that as well!
