Really impressed with the results, frozen carrots and broccoli cooked in four minutes and was very tasty. Consistency of vegetables is different to boiling, much more taste and slightly crunchy but not undercooked. Bags are high quality and don’t leak steam, a bit alarming when you first use them as bags balloon out and the expectation is they will burst, but they don’t. Can’t find them in shops so was very pleased to discover them on Amazon, saves time, energy and washing up saucepans.

I don’t like using plastic that isn’t reusable but these little bags are so handy. On days when I’m having a flare up of chronic pain and don’t want loads of washing up to do and I’m still trying to get my nutrition in these can be very helpful, I often wash and trim stuff like green beans and mange tout, put some oil and minced garlic and seasoning in the bag and stick them in the microwave for two minutes and they come out so nicely steamed and flavoured! The bags themself are thin but definitely do the job. I use them regularly and would recommend as they are reasonably priced and you can just have them on hand incase. Produces very nice steamed veggies!
