Worthy Commander Class Figure
I had my hesitations on buying this for the current retail price, but curiosity got the better of me, and now it's in my collection. In hand, it's incredible. Great size and detail. Really good articulation that is hampered a little by the combining aspect, but in the end, I honestly don't care. Dynamic posing is still possible, just a little tricky. Joints are all solid, and paint applications are great. I admit, $90 before tax is still a tough pill to swallow, but I have no regrets on the purchase. Three great looking dinosaurs that combine into a sturdy, massive robot? What's not to like?

He’s a Big Boi!!!
Having the original Magmatron and comparing it to this one, the quality is amazing! Articulated and robust, this bot really is great. Bigger than previous and much more to go with. He is a Great Predacon leader that’d give Megatron a run for his money. 3 Dino’s in one and combination is great as well as easy to assemble. Couple of things though:-Landsaur could have his mouth open just a smidge more-Seasaur could have been just a smidge more articulated or even a slightly longer neck.Other than that, he’s even better than the original. Skysaur can even turn his wings which is amazing! A menacing appearance for a bad guy and really fun. Well worth the money.

An Epic Toy
Honestly I have no connection to Beast Wars Neo, but when I saw everything that went into this figure, I knew I had to have it! And my expectations were more than met, the plastic quality is amazing. Nothing feels cheap or flimsy, the joints are surprisingly strong and smooth, the connection of all three dinos is solid so it won’t fall apart, oh and it’s HUGE! Reminds me of old Leader class back in the day. The only bit kinda wobbly is the sword, but safety control so the kids don’t get hurt so I can live with it. He’s just so cool and imposing, articulates great, and makes for a fun experience and great display piece

Awesome
Definitely liking this figure. The backpack doesn't seem to tab in as tight as initially. Like I had a hard time pulling separating Seasaurus. One of the hips feels a bit looser than the other. Friction doesn't seem to be as tight as the other. Worried about this in the future.Didn't think I'd care that much for Magmasaurus, but I was quite surprise by it. Parts just tabbing in everywhere to keep things secure. The silhouette looks great though.By surprise, I like Seasaurus overall between the 3.Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Well... He's Almost There
Pros:-Size. (He big. He big big.)-Articulated Magmatron, finally.-Paint apps. (Surprisingly good for a HasTak item.)-Hefty. (Plastic, in general, seems to be of good build quality.)Cons:-Price. (It'll make sense below.)-Full of waffles/holes that require a filler kit. (Shouldn't be necessary at $90.00.)-Sword blade is that soft rubber that eats plastic. (Also bends and contorts under its own weight...)-Wings are also made of that soft rubber that eats plastic. (When I compress the wings for robot mode, then go to extend them for beast mode, they make a horrible noise and you can feel them detaching their grip from the hard plastic around them. Anyone who collects TFs with this stuff knows exactly what I'm talking about.)-Tab can break (and has on some copies) at the waist pivot if you're not careful. You have to transform him a very particular way or you're going to shear the tab clean off as several have, and it's not user error. It's a flawed design. You can see why someone would think you could transform him either way, but it's simply not true.Final thoughts:Because he's partially made of self-destructive materials, because he has waffles/holes all over, because his articulation is somewhat restricted in robot mode (especially the waist), plus the potential for breakage, I do feel he's not worth the $90.00. I do feel you'll need upgrade kits to fix him permanently. (Especially those wings and that blade. Ugh.) I think he looks fantastic, I think he's otherwise built well, and the transformation is involved but not insane. I just think he could've and should've been more for $90.00.After the likes of Jetfire (Siege), Sky Lynx (Earthrise), Rodimus (Kingdom), Motormaster (Legacy), and Armada Prime (Legacy Evolution), Legacy United Magmatron feels like a step down compared to them, especially after Motormaster and Prime. Those two basically define what Commander Class should be. They're $90.00 and Magmatron is blown out of the water compared to those two.I don't want to give the impression that I hate the figure, I don't. I actually enjoy him and it just makes me sad that he was SO close to being fantastic but held back by ridiculous design choices/budgetary constraints at the finish line. Yuck.Commanders tend to sell out, so I'm going to recommend you buy him if you can when you can. That said, IF a sale becomes available and it's possible to save money on this guy, absolutely go that route. Don't pay full price unless you absolutely have to.If Motormaster and Prime are 10s, he's a 6.5 because of the rubbery plastic and bending sword. I could forgive it, or the waffles, but not both. Not really.

Highest quality design and build. Unbelievable.
How did this get made? How was it done with so much appreciation and care? How did this character get better justice done than mainstays like Grimlock? I know that SS86 Grimlock is a different price point, but that feels like a knockoff and this feels like a premium Haslab product. Every joint is properly durable and that's taking into account the massive heft of the figure. And how fun is it to get 3 more amazing realistic dinosaurs in one fell swoop? Get it while the gettin' is good!
