Bahco 396 Lap Laplander Folding Pruning Saw

Needed a folding saw for bushcraft and wild camping, harvesting fatwood, cutting firewood, and generally playing around in the woods.I considered a more expensive silky saw but decided this would be enough for my needs.At this price I'm really impressed with it.The blade locks into place well and is good and sharp, it only cuts in one direction but that's fine, and the handle is nice in the hand.It's about the right size for cutting up to 2 inch branches and could do slightly bigger at a push.Overall this seems really solid and is a great option if you don't want to spend too much

Excellent saw , second one i've had , sharp and cuts through 4inch diameter logs with ease , Foldaway blade so easy to carry around, recommended.

Excellent and compact saw.The locking mechanism appears to be very secure but also easy to use.Very good and effective cutting, highly recommend for anyone looking for and excellent but compact tool.

I've used mine alot and even accidentally dropped large logs on it, stood on it and it still works perfectly. Quality saw.

Very handy tool for cutting branches that the loppers can't cope with.

This will be my Third Tree saw from Bacho, I lost the last one so had to buy a new one, there was no hesitation as to which one I would purchase… it had to be the Bacho 369 Laplander, plus its recommended by Ray Mears. I wouldn’t be without one.

Cut a fair bit of large 4 inch timber with this. It's fast and sharp. I broke a silky saw the first time i used it. This feels a lot better made and cheaper. The handle is study and doesn't flex

Cuts well and locks in both open and closed positions. There is a lanyard to go round your wrist to stop you dropping it and losing it. That’s why this is my second time buying it. If you don’t have much to cut it’s great and it’s much safer than a chainsaw, if a lot slower.
