Yamaha L7B Stand for Genos Arranger Workstation , Black

The stand is expensive, but it holds Genos as it is supposed to be held - snuggly and comfortably. The stand itself does not get in the way, it also does not look ugly like those X-stands. The construction is very sturdy and at the same time the looks are not overlooked. It has brushed texture and no sharp corners. I can't say enough good things about this. In short - great support and form and function in a very well rounded up package.

I was excited to complete the purchase of this music stand since it would complete my Genos 2 station.When I got everything put together I was surprised to see that The keyboard just kind of sits on top and is not secured in any way. Also there doesn't seem to be any sort of form-fitting for the contact points that woodguard against dislodging it from a bump.With my extendable piano bench fully extended, I still need to raise my hands a couple inches higher while playing due to the non-adjustable height.When choosing to stand and play, the playing surface is about an inch lower which causes me to either bend my knees or stoop my back slightly in order to play comfortably.I have a series of pedals along with the subwoofer made for Genos 2, and the placement and retention of those pedals under the keyboard stand is awkward due to their being a wraparound bar along the back.If I had it to do over again, I would go with the Amazon recommendation for an adjustable high quality keyboard stand for less than half the price.Most of the recommendations I scrolled past would have allowed me to both raise and lower the playing surface, do not have a bar along the bottom so my pedal placements could be fine-tuned and I could have spent the money I saved on more sheet music.

This is a very solid stand for the Yamaha keyboard - only downside is the lack of height adjustment. That can be fixed with an adjustable stool but that limits a standing play environment.
