I think some customers may have been trying to assemble this incorrectly.As the pictures and video show the O ring seats snugly onto the back of the nozzle, (not the front). So that it forms a seal when screwed on to the threaded connector.All in all happy with the product.

Perfect fit value for money

I read the reviews and checked the pictures, showing it was 50mm (and not 40 as per the description), which is exactly what (and most people probably) need; 50mm seems to be fairly standard for under sink fittings. It works perfectly for the washing machine outlet hose.

Poor construction using O ring seal that does not sit snugly. Keeps popping out and leaking. Going to fix with sealant. Hassle I don't need. There are better products out there.

Worked perfectly and provided O ring shows no signs of any leaking.Used for attaching a standard appliance wastewater outlet for a dishwasher/washing machine onto existing pipe.

Only just fit for me. I had to use some frog tape to make sure it was completely water tight.

I've checked the diameter of my water pipe and it's 40mm. This item however doesn't fit. The nut thread is bigger than that on my pipework. The 40mm refers I think to the diameter of the connector seating not to the size of pipework. More detail and sizes in the item description would be a great idea.
