I recently tested out the PUROPTICS Carmellose 0.5% Lubricant Eye Drops for Dry Eyes and Irritated Eyes, in the 10ml pack. As a frequent flyer and contact lens wearer who suffers from dry eyes, finding a reliable solution that I can easily take with me on flights is crucial. I must say, the PUROPTICS eye drops have been a perfect choice. The eye drops are convenient and travel-friendly, fitting perfectly in my carry-on!The drops provide immediate relief and comfort to my irritated eyes. The formula is gentle yet effective, making it perfect for daily use, especially for someone like me who relies on contact lenses.Highly recommended for both contact lens wearers and non-wearers alike.

I stupidly spent around 30 seconds trying to drop this into my eye when I first opened the bottle, wondering why it wasn't coming out, before I realised that you are meant to screw the lid down firmly first to pierce the seal - don't make the same mistake!Once I got the drop into my eye, it immediately felt more comfortable - there was no stinging sensation (which I've had with cheaper eye drops) and my eyeball felt lubricated. Not much else to say really - if youre eyes are feeling tired and gritty, give this a go, it works well.

As I get older I've found that my eyes become quite irritated and itch, especially after using a computer for long periods. I found myself blinking a lot more which was annoying. After consulting an ophthalmologist I was recommended to regularly use eye drops containing a form of artificial tears.Using this product has definitely reduced the irritation to a point where I don't notice the irritation, especially in the evenings. The bottle of fluid is easy to use and one or two drops in each eye twice a day keeps my eyes properly lubricated.The solution doesn't cause any stinging and any blurriness disappears within a minute or so. After that I can go about my day as normal.The packaging is CE marked for safety testing and a clearly written instruction leaflet is included. This product does contain a preservative (Stabilised Oxychloro complex).The price of £4.99 is a little higher than I'd expect, but I do find the product works well. The quantity of 10ml will last me over two weeks. Recommended.
