Good collar
Love these collar. Just the eight size for kids and easy enough to put on by themselves. Had them for a few years and still holding strong.

Glad I tried.
Pretty impressive protective equipment. I've grown interested in these to protect against hyper extension/flexion injury but the plastic hard mounted versions look impractical for routine use but this one, just pop it on after placing helmet and buckle in front. Light, easy to apply and stabilizes my helmeted head without discomfort or reduction in ease of head rotation for clearing side streets.

Works well, but not as comfortable as I'd like.
I'm 68 years old, but still do things I'm not supposed to do. Indoor electric go cart racing for example. I've raced Pro level at a local track for the last 5 years and am rated in the top 10 at the track on a regular basis. And if you think indoor electric carts are lame, try running 45 MPH in an old department store sometime. But running the speeds and g-forces we do has taken a toll on the old body and my neck was really starting to feel it, so I decided to try a neck brace. This one looked pretty good and I liked the way it was "bent" to fit my neck and upper body. I've run / worn it for 8 races in the last two weeks and here's my thoughts.First, it really does help support your head with the added weight of a helmet. The biggest area it helps is lateral support and to a lesser extent, fore and aft support. This added support is really helpful in our monthly endurance races. So yes, this product does help. The only negative I have to report is that this particular brace is pretty hard / stiff. Sure, this is a good thing when it comes to an actual impact, but at the Pro level, we don't see a lot of that. What this does lead to - at least in my case - is some chafing on my collar bone on both sides. I borrowed a softer foam brace from another manufacturer and didn't experience any chafing at all.I am also a bit concerned about the Velcro closure. Yes, this is only a backup to the actual plastic clip that really holds it on, but it doesn't look like it's going to last much longer as it's pulling away from the actual cover material, Time will tell.

Now I Can Race Anywhere!
I was recently on a business trip where, as a team, we all went out to race go-karts, and the establishment's generic and well-used neck braces wouldn't fit me and stay together via velcro. They don't let you race without it, so I had to hang out on the sidelines as the rest of my team enjoyed 2 heats. While I was watching them drive, I immediately ran to my Amazon app and ordered this. It was waiting for me when I got home a few days later and it fits perfectly! It's well-made, and the fact that it curves DOWN in the front made all the difference (main reason I went for it). The neck brace at the go-kart place cut off my circulation and pushed my helmet up, so there was no way I was going to drive like that. They have the cheapest braces money can buy... they are just simple, round, too thick, and have cheap velcro that doesn't stand a chance for those of us with bigger necks. This will go with me anywhere I go in the US where this is required. Thanks for a great product that not only is functional, but it well-made!

So vital, a MUST buy for your rider
An ABSOLUTE must if your little one is riding with a full face or dirt helmet. This is almost more important than the helmet. Full face and dirt rider are at much greater risk of hyperextending the neck as the helmet can force the neck beyond a safe limit. This simple collar prevents such injuries. Do NOT cheap out on this vital piece of gear. What good is protecting the head if your little one has a serious spinal injury because you cheated out on a $40 piece of safety gear? But it and worry about something else to protect than the neck and spine
