Star Wars: Andor - The Complete First Season [Blu-ray]

The cinematography is stunning. The actors are at the top of their game. The dialogue is beautifully crafted. The sets are deeply grounded. I've never seen anything like it before and I pray we get something of this quality again in my lifetime... though I won't hold my breath. Andor is a miracle. Slowburn political thriller and character drama, absolutely incredible. 10/10, no notes, it's actually redefined what perfection means to me.

This series is oozing Star Wars without relying too much on fan service.It has familiar and gorgeous locations, great actors, story and dialogue.A fantastic series and i envy those of you that have yet to experience it.I have now watched the final Season 2 and it was every bit as good as Season 1, if not better.

When this project was first announced I wasn’t sure I was going to watch it. Did I really need a prequel story for a character from Rogue One? Because I really liked Rogue One, my wife and I decided to watch it. This is the BEST Star Wars story that has been done since maybe Empire?! Exceptional show and cast; it can be a slow burn at times, but it’s all worth it. Ever wonder how the Rebellion formed? Ever wonder how non-Jedi fought back against the Empire? WATCH this show and learn! I can’t recommend it enough! I’m so glad they decided to release a 4k blu-ray so I can have this in my permanent collection. Bring on Season 2!

I was initially skeptical about Andor., but I am so glad I bought this set. This is an EXCELLENT show. Every episode makes you want to find out what happens next. So you will likely end up binge watching this entire series in one weekend. It's that good!The Empire is menacing once again. In fact I think this show's portrayal of the Empire is better than just about everything else. You can feel the oppression. You can feel just how terrible life would be under this regime. It's also very believable and sensibly presented. There are no magic space wizards here. And it makes it more grounded and real.

This is the best Star Wars we've had since the original trilogy. I held off buying this until I'd seen the finale of season 2, I wanted to be sure they'd stick the landing. Tony Gilroy has created something amazing which is all the more impressive given that he managed to do it under the Disney banner.

I have no idea what they're going to do with Andor Season 2, but Andor Season 1 is a must have for fans of Star Wars who are looking for a mature subject.I won't spoil it in the review other than to say it is a mature look at the beginnings of the rebellion, supplies information about people seen in Rogue One (another stellar movie - no pun intended) and overall continues to be rewatchable.

I'm a big fan of Rogue One, so this was a must see for me! The visuals are very cinematic, good story lines, great acting and a superb cast of characters. Andor introduces some new faces and it is brilliant to have a female officer in the empire, in the guise of Dedra Meera. Can't wait for season two to be released on blu ray!!
