what is the height that go above the paper when stapling (wanting it go into gaps)?

dont understand your question so hope this answers what u are looking for .. it is 5.5cm high expanding to 6.5 as handles begin to to 8.5 on the level end and 2cm wide if going into a gap you could go in as far as 8.5cm to be able to work it the jaws have a depth of 6cm cliipping point is 1 cm hope this makes sense

Dose this take standard staples?

it takes rexel No 26\6. A word of warning I bought it thinking that it had a foot that could be reversed [ ie pins fold either in or out] but no. It's of the same design as a Rexel Nipper which I think is a much better choice. Unfortunately they've stopped production !!

I bought one of these. How do I open it to load more staples?

Pull the small inside bar and the big top bar that are attached together, till it open, slide the staples in and push the whole stapler back together to close it again.
