Yes this stuff is super expensive and only lasts 10 days in the fridge once opened but my cat has kidney failure and it’s almost impossible to get her to eat anything and she’s lost heaps of weight. She completely turned her nose up at this in a bowl but if your cat is doing the same I urge you to try and get them to lick it off your finger, it’s the only way she’ll take it but will take it very happily this way, it smells really strong so I think it will be great for stirring in any supplements and medication they need. Definitely worth a shot

Brilliant product, helped my 17 year old cat recover even though I was certain her 9 lives were up. Had to syringe feed her until she got her strength back to eat on her own but when she was stable she lapped it from the bowl and seemed to like the taste

24 year old cat with hyperthyroidism and early kidney disease loves this. Helps him eat more as we mix in with a pate- hoping this will help him gain some weight back!! Expensive but worth every penny to see him enjoying eating again

Helpful when cat was poorly.

This helped my car out on some weight after a very nasty flare up. We had no idea she had kidney failure until she was end stage and the death of our other cat stressed her to the point she was very very ill. When she wouldn't eat, or was just licking the jelly off her food I knew if I put some of this on she would eat it. I also found we wasted less food too. Because usually she would nibble a little food and leave it and when it dried out an hour later she absolutely wouldn't look at it. With this I coukd pour a little more on and she'd have another go so I wasn't having to open fresh tins every hour (as renal food is expensive!). I think the smell is fine. Just bought my second bottle.

Sadly my cat died a day after taking this.It smells really bad and my cat hated it.I don’t know how they expect a cat to take 90ml of this.Not recommended by me

My elderly cats (both 20 and have CKD) go through periods of not really wanting to eat. A couple of days adding this to wet food or steak mince seems to get them interested again and supports the kidneys (They hate renal food). The cat that was losing weight dramatically has even gained a couple of 100mg. Highly recommend.

When first using this product I would have given it 5 stars but over time my cat refuses to take this. It has quite a strong smell which I don't remember it having when I first started giving him the liquid feed so I don't know if they have messed around with the ingredients since when I first started giving it to him. The product does work wonder if they take it though, however for my cat he suddenly over the course of the last three or four bottles has decided he doesn't like the taste and runs off if he sees me get the bottle out. So now I need to try and find something else.
