Watering without having to drag hoses around.
I'm impressed. I use this to water flowers more that 150 feet form our house. I have no trouble controlling the pump from that distance. I use a 55 gal plastic drum filled with water and it last for ever. I think a 5 gallon pail would be enough in the future. Flowers look great and I don't have to worry about watering. Outside in the sun, the battery is always full when I check. Good product.The main reason for this was when we go on a summer vacation, I didn't want the flowers to die from lack of water. Best looking flower I have ever had out there and 30 seconds of water dripped at the base of each flower daily. When it gets hot I will either manually give it extra or add another scheduled time. Uses way less water than the water can.

Wouldn't buy
Tried everything to connect my wifi, I have 2 separate routers and neither would connect. Had high hopes for this but was pretty disappointed. Maybe it's just the Gen 1 model that is difficult but I don't want to waste more time and money trying to figure it out. Rather find a cheaper and less stress method.

Great, remote watering option!
Perfect for remote areas, ranches and camps! We now have three of these untis feeding multible planting areas. Connection to a netowrk is easy, and the UI is good when you're away! It appears to pump about 7 gallons at 10-15 min/day for a Mon through Fri week.

handy gadget when away from home
happy with this purchase , as it keep my plants alive during 3 week vacation. and I can check if the plans have been actually executed and make adjustment remotely. The app is pretty easy to use too. It would be very helpful if Rainpint also have soil meter that allows to monitor the humidity level when away. will start using it for regular plant care routine

App Problems
The device was working great for the first 2 Days.Today I tried to open my app today and it wouldn't open.When it finally opened, all my information, devices and programs were gone.I'm trying to figure this out right now.
