ColumbiaWomen's Newton Ridge Plus Waterproof Amped Hiking Boot

Haven't worn these for hiking yet, only tried on and wore around the house. I need to break them in. But the fit is great, and the leather and suede are good materials, and I love the colors. Comfy insole. Sturdy construction, my feet will be safe in these! I bought a pair in Shark River Blue (dark blue with lighter blue laces) a year ago, and I bought these to have two pair on hand, this time in Stratus Canyon Rose (medium grey with pink laces!). Love the colors, great fit, so happy. PS I have super wide toes due to arthritis and bunyons, and these fit fine. Bought the Wide. I always size up 1/2 to 1 size in hiking boots (for me).

I love these waterproof hiking boots. They are high quality and have the best ankle support! I got them on sale so it was a great price. They don't have a strong chemical smell and they are super warm in cold, damp weather.

Oh. Em. Gee. These boots feel like I'm walking on clouds. I had foot surgery, and my recovery is long and painful.My foot demands comfort. I do have the strata Columbia boot, but..There. Is. No. Comparison. I tried these on, and they blow the strata right out of the water. The comfort is unreal.I just bought another pair, the stratus/ canyon rose since it's on sale. Wow. Get them. You will be happy you did. Thank you, Columbia.UPDATE:STILL LOVING THE BOOTS. HOWEVER, I DO THINK IT'S SHADY HOW COLUMBIA CAN'T BE CONTACTED DIRECTLY AND THEIR PRICES CHANGE DAILY ON THEIR BOOTS.THAT IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE. WHAT ARE YOU DOING, COLUMBIA?

Wore these pretty much 10 days straight walking and hiking around Scotland. Did not disappoint. Light weight, very comfortable and did not need ANY breaking in. Wore daily with some wool socks (was walking at least 7+ miles a day) and no blisters.

Wore these on a hike inside the Grand Canyon. They’re very protective, comfortable and pretty light. I like how they lace up. They were very easy to put on and easy to tie. They are obviously nonslip which helps in certain spots. A good starter shoe.

The fit is great, I went with an 11. I do wish there had been a wide option at the time of purchase as its a little bit tight on the top of my feet, but I'm hoping it'll get softer as I wear them more to break them in on walks and easy hikes. They're comfy for now but I'll have to wait and see how they do. Love the color, and overall pretty happy

Just like the picture. Went hiking for the first time to break them in and they were comfortable.
