This is the second time I have used this product. The results depend on how you use it.Make sure you throughly loosen the powder before you use it. Once applied wait 2 -3 hours before going over the carpet with your vacuum cleaner. The result is really clean carpet. The key is the powder has so be really dry before you remove it.

After shacking the bag to sprinkle the stuff over my very deep pile carpet I brushed it in with a new soft brush. Everything seems fine smells fresh and like freshly washed clothes, nice.But then it very quickly dawned on me I’m gunna have to hoover this and it’s now super fine white bits/ powder like Iv dropped a whole box of soap powder everywhere.U wait 20 mins then hoover . Well by now it’s dried into a dry powder. It’s damp at first.And the dust it kicks up is horrendous. So it took me about an hr to sprinkle and brush it into my bedroom and x2 landings x2 staircases . And it took about 3 hrs hoovering it I was shattered. Even got my son to help me. Yes it’s fresher and it’s lifted the very deep pile so it’s nice and bouncy again.But then Iv spent another 3 hrs dusting everything because of the dust.So u need a day to do this .Did it work yes was it easy no . The sprinkle part yes the brushing in was easy enough but it’s the cleaning up after.Then I had to clean my hoover because the dust was in everything and I didn’t want to leave it and then reuse it a a couple of days and all that dust get blown everywhere again.

It's okay but l don't find It's particularly effective on our wool carpet. It may work better on other materials.

I always use this to clean carpets, but I can not always get it from the shops. I swear by it, it brings my carpets up clean & soft. You have to put work into it. As you have to hoover the floor firstly, then sprinkle on the powder & brush into the carpet with a hard brush & leave for 20 minutes before hoovering. Luckily I only have upstairs carpets & only have to clean the stairs, the landing & the aisles in the bedrooms. between the beds. Even that is knackering. But it is a cheap method of bringing the carpets up really nice. If I had several rooms with a large expanse of space, I think I would be inclined to just do one room at a time. I found my conventional hoovers could not handle the abundance of powder. Which is why I brought a very cheap wet & dry vacumn, that can collect building debris & water too & this easily picks up this powder. These vacumns are from £55-£90 in Argos or screwfix. I use one of these vacumns to hoover all floors laminate too.

I have a pale green wool carpet, which was in the house when we moved in. The previous owners had the carpets professionally cleaned before we moved in as they has two spaniels. We also have a spaniel who has sponges for feet, no amount of rubbing and towelling gets his feet completely clean. I decided to give this a go - I followed the instructions, making sure that I broke up any lumps and working the powder really well into the pile. The powder didn't feel dry after 20 minutes (damp day) so I left it for about 40 minutes in total before vacuuming. The pile of the carpet was definitely lifted and the carpet smelled much better. The carpet itself didn't look to be much cleaner but the powder in the vacuum was very dirty. I will use this again to freshen and clean the carpet, the dirt in the cleaner shows it cleaned and the smell and appearance of the carpet has improved.

Holes in the bottom of the bag makes it easy to apply and rubs into the carpet well. Application is quick and you only have to leave on for 20 minutes. The majority of the smells had gone from my carpet and it had a cleaner appearance. Will definitely purchase again. A good quality and effective product 👌🏻
