Purchase for science fair project and worked out perfect
My daughter was doing a science fair project on the DNA of strawberries and bananas! This microscope was perfect. You could see the actual DNA in every slide we put in there. It also comes with its own little slides of stuff on them and everything you need to use the microscope. If we didn't have to buy batteries for the light but that's really nothing. It worked perfect and it was actually very sturdy for the price of paid. If you're wanting to buy a microscope to share some memories with your children or if you need one for a science fair, I really suggest this one! You won't be disappointed

Light does not work
It does not work very disappointed. Was a gift for my son. He was so excited. We put brand new batteries and the light just does not work. Waste of money and ruined his excitement. It was what he really wanted. Do not recommend.
