This thing works perfectly!
I don't do a ton of edge banding so I can't bear to buy one of the more expensive trimmers, but the cheap ones are junk, so I just hack at it with a razor blade. But this thing is awesome, solid and sturdy, super clean cuts, really easy to use. In fact, if I did this stuff everyday, I'd still choose this one over the fancy ones for it's price and simplicity, get some spare blades and you're all set! I'm not sure why I got so excited over a little tool, but I guess it's the small things in life...lol

Decent trimmer
Fairly well made, strong blade. I like how you can spin it around and use the other side before replacing the blade. It takes some practice to use it well, so you may set up some test runs first. Try not to stop once you start pushing down the edge banding. And watch the pressure used: not enough and the cut may interrupt and cause a split or chip; too much and it causes indentation lines on softer wood and digs in too much. I found I had better results the more I used it and it saves a lot of effort (rather than just sanding it).

Easy to use and gives a complete view while you are trimming
I love this design because you can see the wood and edging while you are trimming. Seeing your work makes it easier to control and adapt to any inconsistencies in the material or glue-up by slightly changing the pressure or the angles of cutting when needed. While some designs trim both sides at the same time, I prefer the greater control that this trimmer provides rather than saving, at most, a few minutes. The trimmer is easy to hold, has no moving parts, and the blade is thick and sharp. It is also one of the least expensive trimmers. It's simple and very effective.

Good product, Works well
A Very good value. Works well for hand trimming PVC and Wood edge banding. Arrived promptly and was reasonably priced. I ordered a second one and extra blades. This is a professional cabinet shop that does high end cabinets

Product quality ok, design engineering poor
The trimmer functions but the design causes it to cut into the top veneer/or surface. Also often leaves agroove cut on the adjacent side. I have been veneering furniture for over 30 years of experience and do notrecommend this tool!

Nice, simple tool does its job very well. Nice price!
This worked perfectly, trimmed the edge banding beautifully. This was my first time attaching edge banding, and I was concerned about trimming it, neatly without damaging the surface of the plywood. This made it super simple and very clean. As an added bonus, you can swap the blade around if the first one gets dull.

Works fine
Works super and saves a lot of time. Also there is less dirt compared when using a router. But be aware, this tool is for edge banding, not to cut laminate banding.
