air pod quality sound in a budget
⭐ Portronics Conch Thera C ReviewThe Portronics Conch Thera C is a solid choice for anyone looking for budget-friendly, USB-C wired earphones. The in-ear design ensures a snug and comfortable fit, making it suitable for long listening sessions without discomfort.Sound quality is impressive for the price—clear vocals, decent treble, and surprisingly strong bass. Noise isolation is quite effective thanks to the silicone tips, which help block out ambient noise during calls or music playback. The built-in mic and inline controls work well, making it easy to handle calls and adjust volume on the go. Build quality is decent, with a durable cable that doesn’t tangle easily. Most importantly, the USB-C connector makes it a perfect match for modern smartphones that lack a headphone jack.---✅ Pros:Clear, bass-rich soundComfortable and lightweightNoise isolation works wellUSB-C plug for modern devicesGood value for money❌ Cons:No app or customization optionsNot compatible with 3.5mm or Lightning devicesA great pick for daily use, especially for Android users looking for wired earphones with good performance.

Value for Money with Great Mic and Sound
Mic Functionality:Very good. I'm using the mic to write this review via voice. Clear and responsive.Sound Quality & Performance:Strong bass with balanced treble. Best at 50–60% volume. At full volume, sound leaks a bit and drains battery faster.Comfort & Fit:Fits well and is comfortable, but long listening at high volume gave me a headache (might be personal).Design & Build:Nice in-ear design. Build quality is okay for the price. Buttons work fine.Compatibility:Works perfectly with Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi Notebook Ultra.Final Thoughts:At ₹280, it's a great deal for mic quality and sound performance

Affordable Type-C Earphones Using AB13X USB DAC – Stereo Only, No Hi-Res Support
Chipset Generic AB13X DAC (Chinese low-cost USB audio controller)Sample Rate Max 16-bit / 48kHz only (no hi-res support)Mic support ✅ Works with in-line mic (usually OK on Android/PC)Driver size 14.2 mm is decent, but DAC limits overall sound claritySound profile Acceptable for voice and casual music; not audiophile😬 Why It Shows “AB13X USB Audio”This is because:The internal chip is not a Samsung or Realtek DAC.It is a generic USB audio interface, often found in budget Type-C accessories. The same "AB13X" identifier appears in 100s of rebranded products (from local, Chinese, and budget brands).> So despite Portronics being a known brand, they used a generic DAC in this product to keep costs low. What You Can Expect from the AB13X-based Conch Theta CAudio Type PerformanceCalls & Zoom ✅ Clear enough for voice, mic works fineYouTube/Spotify ✅ Decent for casual listeningFLAC/Hi-Res Music ❌ No 24-bit support, average detailGames/Movies (Dolby 5.1) ❌ Stereo only, no surround or passthroughVolume & Bass ⚠️ Average; not powerful headphones

Definitely worth the price!!.
Love the sound quality and the feel of the product. Length is optimal. Mix quality is really nice. However ear fitting could be improved. Overall Durability should be nice, however it also depends on the usuage.

The sound is awesome
Budget-Friendly Bass, Decent OverallThe Portronics Conch Theta wired earphones target the budget-conscious consumer looking for a decent audio experience. While they deliver on the promise of strong bass, other aspects of their performance are more mixed.Sound Quality:The Conch Theta's defining characteristic is its bass-heavy sound signature. If you're a fan of genres like EDM, hip-hop, or pop, the pronounced low-end will likely appeal to you. However, this emphasis on bass can sometimes muddy the mid frequencies, making vocals and instruments sound less distinct. The high frequencies are present but lack sparkle and detail. Overall, the sound is energetic and fun, but not particularly balanced or refined.Comfort and Design:The Conch Theta earphones are lightweight and generally comfortable for casual listening. The in-ear design, coupled with the included ear tips in various sizes, helps to achieve a reasonably secure fit. The cable is fairly standard and prone to some tangling, though not excessively so. The build quality feels plasticky, as expected at this price point, but doesn't feel overly flimsy.Features:The Conch Theta includes an in-line microphone and a single multi-function button. The microphone works adequately for phone calls, though clarity could be better. The button allows for basic control of music playback and call management, but lacks volume controls.Overall:The Portronics Conch Theta wired earphones are a decent option for those who prioritize bass-heavy sound on a tight budget. They're suitable for casual listening, workouts, and commuting, but aren't ideal for critical listening or audiophiles. The emphasis on bass comes at the expense of overall clarity and balance, and the feature set is basic.Pros:* Powerful bass response* Affordable price* Lightweight and reasonably comfortable* In-line microphoneCons:* Bass-heavy sound can muddy mids and highs* Limited detail and clarity* Basic feature set (no volume control)* Cable prone to tanglingFinal Verdict:The Portronics Conch Theta wired earphones deliver a fun, bass-forward listening experience for those on a budget. However, if you're looking for balanced sound or advanced features, you'll need to look elsewhere.Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
