Did I get a faulty piece?
I've used these for 3 days now. Here are my impressions.Sound quality is very good. You'll need to use the equalizer function in the app to get the most out of the earphones. In the standard settings, its actually set up suboptimally, with too little base and little mid-range.The noise cancelling is also excellent. However, in "adaptive" mode, it doesn't switch to the setting that is the best one for your environment. You'll actually have to actively use the app on your phone and change the settings depending on wind-noice etc.The built quality is rather mediocre. They do not feel premium. One youtube reviewer I listened to claimed that its possible to listen to music while USB charging, I thought that was a neat feature. I have however not been able to replicate this.Sometimes there is a scraping sound associated with bass while listening. This is rather intermittant. I have not been able to consistently reproduce the phenomenon (it is very annoying when it happens) and it goes for long periods without any problem. For this reason, I am un-sure whether I should return them or not (did I get a faulty pair?).
