Great Gift for My Mom – Excellent Support & Thoughtful Features
I bought the Audien ATOM Pro 2 for my mom as a birthday gift after she had frustrating issues with a different brand. We decided to give these a try—and they’ve been a great improvement! She finds them comfortable and easy to use, and the sound quality has made a noticeable difference in her daily life. One of the standout features for me is the built-in **UV light in the charging case**, which helps disinfect the hearing aids while they charge. That added layer of hygiene is a smart and thoughtful touch. We did have a battery charging issue at first, but I reached out to customer service and was genuinely impressed—they were very responsive and sent a replacement set right away. It's clear that the company cares about its customers and stands behind the product. There’s occasionally a bit of feedback, but nothing disruptive, and overall, the experience has been very positive. My mom is happy with them, and that’s what matters most.Highly recommended if you're looking for reliable, easy-to-use hearing aids with great support!

2 month review
After a full month of using my Atom Pro 2 hearing aids, I'm confident they were worth every penny. The sound quality has stayed clear all the time, letting me hear conversations I was missing before. The four hearing modes is practical nd battery lifes are impressive, last all day on a single charge. The UV cleaning feature in the case gives me peace of mind about hygiene, it does make me feel better. They stay comfortable even after long time wearing, and their design is so discreet that most folks don't notice them. For anyone who is hesitating because of the price being affordable, don't, these perform just as good as options that cost thousands more.

Not bad for the price.
So I have been needing hearing aids for a while but... they are expensive. I bought the Atom 2, in-ear units. I saw a lot of people talking about feedback. I found that yes, they do howl when putting them in and sometimes even in the ear, especially at high volume levels. However, I figured out that just by twisting the units in my ear resolved the howling issue. There are 4 modes and to be honest, I really am not sure which to use for different environments yet but Mode 2 seems to be best for me. they have 5 different volume levels and the manual says that level 3 is the "normal" level. I usually keep them at level 2 or 3. On the upside, the units do work. The case is really nice, with UV sterilization built in and they snap right in to the case with no issue. They also seem to help reduce tinnitus. On the downside, I do have to agree that the sound is somewhat tinny and they really seem to amplify everything without differentiating between conversation and background sounds but then again, this might be normal for hearing aids, I don't know. The only other issue is when putting them in you have to be really careful to not press the button or you could change the mode or volume but I am already adapting automatically to this so probably not an issue with use. Bottom Line: For the price, don't be afraid to get them. Sure they have a few issues but then again, they give your hearing a boost and don't cost 2-5 K either.

Not good for all types of situations
The best that I have found for these amplifiers is for watching TV. I'm nearly completely deaf in my right ear, but still have reasonable hearing in my left. I have an implanted BAHA device for my right ear and would likely need to think about getting a hearing aid for my left ear a some point in the future. I wanted to try out one of the less expensive personal hearing amplifiers to see how they worked for me at this stage. I did some online research and decided on the Audien ATOM PRO 2s because there were some good reviews. I'm somewhat "underwhelmed" by the results. On most environment settings, there was too much "mouth noise" feedback (meaning I was able to hear myself chewing, swallowing, coughing and talking), and that came across as very irritating and distorted any external sounds, including conversations. I tried all the settings at a number of volume settings and couldn't eliminate that very unnatural "internal" mouth noise. The other irritating sound that seems accentuated by the ATOM PRO 2s is sibilance (like running water, scraping metal chair across concrete). Those noises come across far louder than other sounds. The only environment that I find them helpful in is for watching TV. Since wearing them, I can clearly hear dialog on TV at a considerably lower volume (for example, on a scale from 1 to 20, I went from a 14 down to an 8). Unfortunately, not a very cost effective item to purchase just to hear what's on TV better. They're easy to use, small and are relatively comfortable to wear for a few hours. Inserting them takes practice because of the proximity feedback issue, but if you don't need to fiddle with them a lot, a bit of squawking feedback is irritating, but I can deal with that. As mentioned before, not a great all-purpose solution for someone with moderate to less-than-moderate hearing loss, but does work for specific sound environments, like transmitted sounds (radio, TV, movies).

Audien Hearing Atom Pro 2s
These worked great, and the sound quality was exceptional. I loved everything about them, unfortunately my ear canal openings are very small and prevented them from remaining secure in my ear during strenuous activity. The customer support at Audien is great, they fully understood my problem, and authorized the return with no problem. A few moments after I had gotten off the phone, the young lady I had spoken to called back to offer to swap the Atom Pro 2s even up for the Audien IONs, which have a significant price difference. Great people, great products, and great service.
