This gets five stars because it works exactly as it should. However, it still is not perfect.Things I like:- Has a cover with a handle and holes for steam. The holes might be a might big that might lead to a little bit of splatter in your microwave, but I havent noticed anything significant in mine.- Large surface area- very easy to useThings that could be improved:- There is another similar gadget that has a pour spout for the grease, but they misplaced it, using a full side instead of a corner. I wish they would add a little bit of a pour spout on a corner to make it easier to pour out the grease, which you should do after EACH use.- The slats are still a bit shallow and parts of your bacon can end up sitting in grease a bit too much for my liking. (however, I understand this would make it harder to clean)- side walls could be a little higher to decrease chance of spilling when removing from the microwave.While this is by no means HARD to clean, I've determined the best and easiest way to clean this (especially if youre like me and you use multiple times in a row). If you have an electrical kettle (which everyone should have btw), boil about 4 cups of water, squirt some dish soap onto the tray, then pour the boiling water directly onto the tray and just let it sit there for a few minutes. Once that's done, the stuck on bacon remnants remove rather easily, and then you can either toss this thing in the dish washer or wash it yourself with a little elbow grease.While this thing is not perfect, it produces excellent bacon consistently. It reduces the mess DRASTICALLY when compared to cooking in a pan, and I honestly love this thing. Ive seen so many other microwave bacon gadgets try to do such a simple thing in many different ways. This one is by far the best, the simplest, and its only $9!!!!!!!!! Perfect gadget for me, even if its not perfect in itself.

Bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy are our Saturday night supper. Had one of these and after several (5-6 years) it developed a crack. Tried replacing it with another brand THAT DID NOT WORK. Searched until I found another identical one on Amazon. Bought it. Great product. Holds six slices of bacon. Grease drips in slots leaving bacon crisp and less grease. Good price. Happy I found the replacement bacon cooker.

First off, this does what it is supposed to do: Allow microwave bacon to finish well, and collect the excess grease drippings away from the strips of bacon and yet be poured off to be saved for other cooking.The quibble I have is with the splatter top. The material in the base where the bacon is held is substantial and looks like it will last a long time. The cover is vented and fits well.The handle on the top to remove the cover has several problems, at least for our household. First, the recess where the handle is molded is a little too narrow. Wearing gloves or using a towel to avoid burns, there just isn't enough clearance to securely grip the raised handle. With some stiff hands in the household, dexterity isn't always as good as it should be. Even with younger hands, the grip is just so-so.The other design quibble is that while making the cover and fashioning the handle, a slight taper is made from bottom to top, to allow the molding process to release easier, I assume. However with some steam and heat that makes the top a bit more likely to push out of the grip rather than be slightly larger at the top so it would be securely held. They did make the handle slightly textured so there is a bit of a grab when it is held, but just making it straight up and down on the handle or even slightly knob shaped would have gone a long way towards making this a perfect kitchen item.Would I buy it again, yes. It appears solid and does the job well (including pouring out of the accumulated grease). Could it be better? For sure.

Best way I have found to cook bacon. Keeps the oven from getting all greasy and with the cover, keeps microwave clean as well. Takes about I minute per slice. I put 6 slices in, cook for 3 minutes, turn over and cook for 3 more. Makes Perfect bacon. I drain grease and wash tray. Takes a bit of cleaning but heck for perfect bacon it’s worth it. Thanks

Making bacon is so much easier with this tray. It fits several slices, cooks evenly, and contains the mess. The cover helps reduce splatter, and the cleanup is simple. It's now my go-to for bacon mornings,no more oven pans or paper towels.

Don't trust the instructions. Yeah, it's easy to use but if you like your bacon crispy like me, it'll take at least 6-7 minutes in the microwave. And you can't use this thing multiple times in a row or it'll melt! Make sure to measure your microwave interior before you buy to make sure it'll rotate safely. You can stack them in the microwave and I strongly recommend you buy 2 or 3 at least. The bacon isn't quite as good as you'd get from a frying pan but it's still pretty tasty and the cleanup is a lot easier, so it's worth it in my opinion.

Works great. The instructions work but will have to experiment with it to get bacon crispy. Cleans up good in dishwasher
